West Ham are poised to make a move for Sunderland midfielder Ahmed Elmohamady. Elmohamady, 24, has failed to make any impact at the Stadium of Light since Martin O'Neill took charge last season. The Egyptian midfielder is keen to stay in the Premier League and regain the form which saw him become a regular under former boss Steve Bruce. Sam Allardyce is planning to bring in at least four new players during the summer following his side's promotion and wants players with top-flight experience. With Henri Lansbury returning to Arsenal following his loan spell and both Julien Faubert and Papa Bouba Diop being released by the club this week, the West Ham boss is looking to bolster his midfield. Allardyce would like to get his business done in the transfer market as early as possible and looks set to make a move for Elmohamady in the next few weeks. .......................... Nigeria international Yakubu Aiyegbeni may have played his last match for relegated Blackburn Rovers. The 29-year-old has told BBC Sport that he is not keen on playing in the Championship, after Rovers dropped out of the top flight. Yakubu was the one bright element in an otherwise gloomy season for Blackburn, scoring 18 goals in total. He has two years to run on his contract but - a proven goalscorer - there would be interest from other clubs.

good solid additions. Cuellar would be a good squad signing, he can do a good job at CB and RB. As for Diame I like the lad and I see him as Catts replacement, I would be a tad disappointed if we don't bring in a central midfielder with something about them like Fernandes who I have been mentioning for a while, someone who can put there foot on the ball and create some magic.
