    The first toon game I remember watching was the one vs Barca, was on TV and I was only 5/6 at the time. Ahh he was lethal, like a tall, awesome, crazier version of Martins.

    He was amazing, like elastic, but my favourite player of that era was Beardsley. I idolised him, without doubt THE most skillful and gifted footballer to wear a toon shirt in my lifetime. No competition.

    There was also that quality goal in the Uefa cup I forget who; he took a ball down from the keeper in one touch taking it past his marker and in about five strides he had powered into the box having drifted past a second defender before dinking a delicate lob over the keeper - cue celebrtion by raising his toon top up onto the corner flag and waving it about.<diva>

    Pretty sure he was then booked and missed the next match
