Probably not this season. Maybe a cameo appearance last couple of games?

    Dont want to rush him

  2. I'd love for him to score a last minute winner vs WBA last game of the season lol

I'm happy enough for him to keep training with the lads, get full fitness and full belief back in his leg and play his part next season.

Got a number 8 on his training kit. Is this just for training or his future shirt number?

Pretty much all of them wear the wrong numbers, Pardew has already said Ben Arfa will be #10 next year I think.

I think the players just pick up any training gear that fits them, I see numbers like 52 and that.

Bit of a "prima donna" really. He went to Wigan with a set of rules that everyone must apply to, think he called them his "10 commandments". We don't need players with this sort of attitude at Newcastle.

I mean he parts the Red Sea, which don't get me wrong was impressive! But what has he done since then? Perhaps he is just a one hit wonder.

I think he is a gamble and we need someone with more experience. Perhaps Gandhi who I feel is way underrated.

Pards has a view of him scoring 10-15 goals a season... but surely this goal record will get a lot of interest in him that we'll find difficult to knock away? :( hopefully his loyalty and the want to thank the club will keep him here for years to come!

Well if he's a AM that's a very realistic target IMO.

yeah im not disagreeing with the amount of goals he can score, just saying that any top team would be after that! i think we can be sure we'll get a lot of interest for him in the future if he lives up to expectations! is all im saying. it what really a pointless post anyway haha...

Oh yeah, yeah get your point. I don't think he'll go though IMO. It looks like he's enjoying life in Newcastle and seems pretty happy to play for us for many years and hopefully be a very important player when we finally reach the promise land of European football. Next season is a possibility if we can get a quality striker or two, a quality RW/LW, a quality CB and 1 or 2 versatile ''squad'' players who are not of ''Perch'' class/quality.
