I don't think suggesting Koscielny and Rosicky aren't very good is a crime. Rosicky put in a few decent performances towards the end of the season but in general has been indicative of the tippy-tappy, can't tackle won't tackle nonsense of a midfield that has cost Arsenal dearly in recent years. Koscielny isn't a bad player but could do with a few sessions in the gym if the games against QPR are anything to go by.
Arsenal always let players go. This is normal considering every season they give players pro contracts - they MUST let other players go, this is normal and nothing to get excited about - until we see some other names on the list like Vela, Bendtner, Denilson etc.
Absolutely. Players have been released every year. This time is no difference. Players need to be sold, that's the issue here.
Nothing bad about the list of the players released. Just because the likes of Vela and Denilson aren't on it doesn't mean they neccessarily have a future at the club, just that they still have time on their contracts. What I want to see is us actively hawking them to potential clubs rather than a "if they go, they go" scenario. On a seperate note it's nice to see that only 4 days after football has finished the wums are out in force. Shame on those of you who were biting, Yurilly got you with one of the oldest tricks in the wum handbook. Show a list of poor players, insert 1 or 2 popular names, sit back and watch the indignant fireworks. Tut tut.
