And I am not buying that either, the only people who truly knew what was going on were the people involved, you weren't it's that simple.

I don't think that Sousa lost the backing of the entire board valley, I'm sure that Martin Morgan stood behind Sousa right up until his departure! Of course you can always pop in to Morgans and ask him?....... <cheers>

No your right, but at the end of the day, who appointed Sousa? Yes he had his issues, who doesn't, but this closing ranks, and it was all Sousa's fault from the fans, is a little small mined, typical welsh trait though!............. <laugh>

I don't think we are all blaming Sousa as he was clearly not backed. But come on who was responsible for the way we played ? He while gave us backbone made us the laughing stock of the league, I think we scored less than the team we who landed up last in that season.

Come on Sousa Your killing us softly with this game! I heard you sang a good song, I heard you had some style, and so I came to see you to watch you for a while, and there you go my good friend a stranger to my eyes

Strumming my pain with this football
Tearing my life with this game
Killing me softly with this style
Killing me softly with this style
Tearing my whole life with this game
Killing me softly with this song.

    .................

It could have been a lot worst. There are a few others we could have had as manager who`d have cost us dearly but luckily Jenkins and the board have gambled and won with our last few and even managed to get shot of Sousa when they wanted without to much if any damage to our club & finances.
Took the defensive stuff learned from him foreward and binned the rest .

Wait now, Sousa signed some players here didn't he?
He brought Lopez over from qpr who was reportedly our highest payed player by quite some margin
cotteril in jan who was also on a fair wack
cedric vdg was on over 10k I believe
Beattie on about 15k - also broke our transfer record on him.
    Shefki kuqi - god knows!

No wonder the board didn't back him, his signing didn't exactly light up the world did they!!

Sousa was great for us, another master stroke from Jenkins on the road to the Premiership. The football played was fantastic, sadly lacking an end result. I remember the slagging that he was given by some of the posters here band also the slagging that was given to our players by the same. This was some of the worst stick Ive witnessed. I remember those same posters hoping that our beloved Swans lose in friendlies and the slating our manager Brendon Rogers got when he signed. Brenda the tea lady they called him. Oh how those jokers have now changed their tune, you know who you are, makes you sick to hear them pontificate on our team. Huw Jenkins has masterminded this rise in our fortunes and has guided us to dizzy hights, more power to his elbow. Thank you to all those previous managers and players who all contributed to our success. I hope they all live long and prosper!
    Win, lose or draw, STID!

    Valid points, gendros. <applause>

Apart from one. Under Sousa "The football played was fantastic" ??? <yikes>

We agree to disagree. Got some decent results, but far to many draws (that did for us in the end) and hardly a goal in sight (lowest in the division?).

You never hear me have a go at any Swan, anytime , except for Sousa . Sorry , gendros ... Huw took the day off when he hired Paulo& Jenkins knew that when he watched the door hit Sousa on the way out !

Biggest load of claptrap I've heard in a long time! If Jenkins is so good at masterminding, how come he Bankrupted his company, owing £450,000 to creditors?

If he masterminded Sousa's appointment, how come 6 months later the Swansea City board were desperate to get rid of Sousa, hook or by crook?

The football played was fantastic under Sousa? you clearly didn't watch the games at the Liberty, otherwise you wouldn't come out with such rubbish.

'Brenda the tea lady' you say, just for the record, that was all mine, and no one else is allowed to take credit, and I apologise not!.............<laugh>

What a bloody whinging old woman, I suppose you'll rear your ugly mug in another 12 months!..........

No one in business will go through life with 0 failures. We only learn from our mistakes and that is exactly what HJ has done. <ok>

Bit harsh, Phill. Don't you always tell me people are entitled to their opinions? Nothing to do with Brenda striking a nerve then? <laugh>

Having a business fail happens to the best of us. Simon Cowell was on his arse at least once, as was Lord Sugar.

I don't agree with Gendros but he's entitled to that view. <ok>
