I saw this in the Mirror the other day that we were signing him on a free in the summer. Maybe they are hoping they can push Don more central on a permanent basis, while easing in the younger wingers slowly!! If he is any good, then a midfield of Bucko, Eustace, Cowie and Conway doesn't sound too bad to me!!

Isn't Cowie out of contact this summer, or has he got another year left?

Just popped in for a cold beer and see that you get a spot of bother with telecoms..

It just so happens that my broadband and phone company wanted me to change over from my UK bank account to my French one. It makes little difference so I agreed. Please fill in the form that you can download and send it off to us. That I did at the beginning of February and two weeks later received a letter to say that the form on the website was out of date and could I please fill in the correct one that they supplied. End of February I get an e-mail to say thank you and it is all set up.

Mid March when the payment is due I see that they do not take any money from my account. That is their problem I think, but no, I get another e-mail to tell me I have not paid my account. Calling up all of my best indignant French I send an e-mail to ask what are they playing at? Two days later a reply telling me that six weeks is not long enough for them to sort out a direct debit.

Two days later a survey. How did you find our service? Finished with, "Thank you for having confidence in us" :emoticon-0116-evilg

I have to admit, I have had trouble with them too. I have Sky TV, Phone & Broadband, but apparently Sky aren't in my area ao had to get a BT phone line. Have had a few times when the internet has gone so hone up Sky, who tell me it's a BT problem. Phone up BT and they say it's a Sky problem!

When I got a Sky+ box, thought sod it, I'm going to install this myself!!

That's the problem I had when it came to getting the phone line repaired!! It was ridiculous. I would call up Sky querying when the work would be done. They would tell me to find out from BT. BT would then tell me it is Sky's responsibility. This would continue for good knows how long. It got to the point where I was literally arranging my own maintenance project to get the sodding BT line installed!!

seems this broadband thing is much more widespread. we left virgin as we were paying so much.. when they found we were going they offered us a deal better than sky.. but we had already signed up for sky... so too late.. and now we ar paying a fortune for all the sky add-ons. Of course with sky you get bt.. and thus two lots of bills and problems... and now i have bt ringing my quite regularly offering me a better deal with sky <steam>..

Then of course with sky i have this stupid router which caused me nothing but problems.... then my teccy nephew had a good look and sussed that i was on the same wireless channel as my neighbour and thus the signal was being distorted.. he sorted that and now no problem.... howeverIi had in the meantime commissioned an eleccy to hardwire me in at £200 <doh>
