Maybe its for the best. The boy hasn't been able for the step up to the Premier League. Hughes hopefully has other Irons in the fire.
This was his first season at this level and he didn't cut it. I don't want to start bashing the lad because he obviously has bucket loads of talent but his head is not right. There's something missing up there. And when that's the case, how can it ever change?
How can you say he wasnt capable? He was our best player in around 80% of the games he played and won us the games against Spurs and Arsenal??

Well that's just plain nonsense. For the first half of the season he was very poor and for the rest, there was just a handful of games where he came good. Stop trying to re-write history because we won't have it. Shed loads of talent but all going to waste because he won't (or more likely can't) learn when to pass the ball, when to shoot etc.
Buz, Cerny and Hill were offered new contracts as theirs were up in June. Adel with a year left on his means it's business we don't have to worry about at the moment. I can't imagine Adel would consider going to Germany for anything. He seemed to really be enjoying himself at Rangers after Hughes joined and he can see we're building for the future, a future where he could be an integral part.
Definitely seemed to be improving as the season went on from the games I saw him in. And that was all of them.
Well he has to because this is the Premiership. Can't carry anyone here. Maybe a good pre-season with Hughes will sort him out.

I've done it Ozzie! I know I'm way too harsh on Tarbs. I'm from the old school of play that says: make the simple pass and don't surrender possession at all costs. What's more I'm fully aware that my ideas are outdated and that we NEED flare players like Adel to keep the game exciting. I'm trying to change but sometimes I just can't help it!
