Chelsea are about to release Drogba, seems bonkers to me, still looks one of the best strikers around(when he's not falling over).
He has impressed me this season much better if it wasn't for the diving. Surprised Torres wants to leave though.
Man City have now released Owen Hargreaves. Four appearances and one goal. Still only 31, there's a hell of a player in there if someone takes a punt and he stays fit.
As far as I'm aware, he wasn't injured while he was at Man City, they just didn't play him, he should have taken up the West Brom offer instead.
Mourinho has signed up for another four years at Real Madrid... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18163343
Apparently OGS has now ruled himself out of the Villa manager's job. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/22052012/58/premier-league-solskjaer-rejects-villa-job.html
Did anyone seriously think that OGS would actually take the Villa job ? Villa are in a right old mess these days. Drogba states that he wont play in England again. Looks like its China for the Drog now and mega
It kind of is I think. I'm sure that I read that Drogba wanted a 2 year deal but Chelsea were only prepared to offer him 1 year. The position may have changed after the CL Final though. Hasn't Abramovich assured Torres of his future at the club as well. Is he going to be picking the team now?
Nope. It was Drogba who called time @ Chelsea. Sighting that he has won the lot with Chelsea and needs a new challenge. He also said he would have stayed if they had not won the CL on saturday. Time for Torres to take up the battle now says Drogba.
The latest BBC Sport report does say that. It also refers to Chelsea's refusal to bow to Drogba's demands of a 2 year contract... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18152689
