as kickitoff says, they could still approach him but as i've said all along, the 'o'neill factor' was always likely to be a massive thing in our favour - to be honest, i wouldn't bet against him having been sounded out at some point earlier in the process and him giving a swift "no thanks". if it is to be solskjaer i for one will be massively intrigued as he'd have been one of the names i'd have suggested for any vacant managers' position within our club!
Oh come on do you seriously think if PL we seriously in the frame they would have made some form of approach to NCFC by now??
He is probably being pursued by all manner of attractive young ladies from the County of Norfolk.Could you possibly light my cigarette old bean? I know you are all posh in Ipswich,I understand that it is adjacent to Mayfair.
I got the impression that Lambo turned them down having been sounded out pretty much immediately. I doubt McNally would have issued such a strong hands off without at least consulting PL. Also this is how we reacted to burnley, the club said back off but lambo was consulted. By the sounds of things player recruitment has started and I doubt we would do much with the playing staff until we knew lambo was here next season.
@fourth_official Paul Lambert will remain at Norwich, whilst Grant Holt will sign a new 3 year contract once given assurance Lambert is staying ‪#NCFC‬
well as much as i expect holt to stay i very much doubt grant holt will be signing a new three year contract seeing as he already has two years left! nit-picking maybe, but if they knew the ins and outs of it i'm pretty sure they'd have mentioned its an extension on improved terms to his current deal rather than a new contract. i personally wouldn't believe a thing that comes from that source. yes they've got a few things right but they've got most wrong before.
