With the levels of support and media coverage get, they have gotten themselves a bargain, and that is why they are concentrating so hard on the marketing and financial aspects of the club for now as they know we will be a proper little earner once properly set up......They wont be selling until our value is approaching at least 750 Million
put it this way, if i was in charge of the marketing at liverpool football club, we would have reached it about 5 years ago when we were the best team in Europe. (Top ranked team in europe.) But a date for now, is completely dependant on their actions: 1. A stadium or refurbishment and enlargement of Anfield is essential. 2. Buying players who will increase in value is essential........this may not be happenning in the first team squad, but there are maybe 5-6 youth and reserves who could be 20 million + players within 3-4 years. 3. continue to promote the brand worldwide...keep your eye out for the standard chartered masters events and such.... (An association with man Utd seems to be, that promotes both clubs in asia.) 4. Liverpool the lunchbox, liverpool the poster, liverpool the doll........and my favorite.....Liverpool the flamethrower!!

If they can get someone to sponsor the stadium, a decent team and a brand new stadium, potentially LFC could be worth well over £1bn in say 6/7 yrs, its like red brynner says it needs settin up.And that will mean at some point gettin there hand in THERE OWN pockets, are they willing do that, to make the killing in the long run.Im not sure
stadium is simple... its bad business to spend 300mil to give us a nice seat and 15k extra people in.... the reality is if they got a sponsor and a NEW location and built an 80k stadium it might make sense. sorry but thats just business and they never promised to build one. I think the simple risk/reward thing has to be considered here when it comes to players. If you asked me you or anyone esle to name the top prospects we could do it. Mata, silva, aguero and villa, hazard etc etc we all knew full well the score... every bloody one succeeded so we have to get i nfirst and make the deal pay the premium and KNOW in 3 years time they will be worth 30% more at least... Today we know a certain number to very top names like amrtinez, and erikkson and if it takes 25mil so bloddy what?
After 18 mths they still haven't decided whether to build new or refurb which is ridiculous. They need one goal and to go all out for that. At the moment all they are doing is fobbing us off and the months go by and then years.
they have IMO, they don't want to admit the reality to us cos they know that no matter what they had said about no promises some people assume they will build a gold plated stadium.
