I think a new club could very well avoid sanctions. Certainly not the same sanctions as the defunct club they are replacing.

“I am not entirely sure why a distinction is made between the two routes out of administration”

Then you are a ****ing idiot Mr Doncaster.

Seems like a distraction from the main issue, which is that 95% of supporters don't want a newco in the spl.

If thousands of folk say they won't be back if a new club gets let into WITH sanctions, I wonder what he thinks is going to happen if a new club gets let in with no sanctions.

I bet thousands of folk are talking ****e.

And how would we measure this boycott anyway, the fans have been deserting the game in droves up here for the last 10/20 years.

I don't think people are talking ****e. Certainly with regards to attending away games.

It's no more ****e than the Gers fans who are threatening boycotts.

This isn't exactly going to help by trying to maintain the status quo. I doubt 95% will walk away but the clubs outwith the old firm will suffer the most as there fans have been saying for years that the old firm get away with murder. This will be the straw that breaks the camels back in my opinion.

Could it be that Doncaster is simply waffling with the intention of counterbalancing his previous 'warning' to Rangers that they would be punished if the inquiry finds them guilty of 'double contracts' etc - just a case of not wanting to appear in public that he's only interested in putting the boot into them?

He's just an arse, after the majority of fans said they wanted a bigger league this clowns suggestion was to go back to the failed 10 team SPL.

It's ok, we'll apparently be dead before next season. Why worry about penalties if we won't even exist?

But if Rangers die then it means there is no Rangers at all. Are you telling me now that Rangers are not going to die?

Wonder if Gretna could sue in some form or other?

    Hopefully it could happen.

So what difference does it make? Any creditor will get, more or less, the same ****ty pence in the pound deal either way. The red tape & bureaucracy behind it is an irrelevance.

Only if you ignore the value of Ibrox, Murray park, albion Car park and the players. I'm pretty sure you could get more than £8.5 m for them. £8.5m being the sum used to pay off the Creditors through a CVA.

Who's going to buy Ibrox? It's very limited in what you can do with it given that part of it's a listed building.
