9's , i had the same problem but i got the super hoop thing so i could get my kids tickets/mates tickets as and when. I know it was an extra £30 but meant i could always uarantee extra tickets when needed, and no booking fee so saved money on that .
Yes, I was thinking of doing that as my wife likes to come sometimes. Probably need to choose the quieter games given the bad influence she will see me having on my boys at the likes of Chelsea etc!
Ok so pricing is out. Didnt we get £50 back last year (I am Silver in R block) so they are actually more expensive then last year. Also has to pay £30 to get away games (more loyalty points) no mention of this?
The fact that they have not gone up and the fact we are investing in our clubs future now i really don't mind as much. Have to say the next step for me is the investment in a new ground cos paying these prices for the ****e facilities we have is still wrong. But at least now we seem to be heading towards the promised land of a new stadium.
It's a fair deal overall for sure though it would have been nice to scrap the Superhoop upgrade. Unless the first couple of away games are London games they should just about make general sale anyway. People will always moan about something- last year they moaned that they were given a £50 voucher, valid for purchasing away tickets, which they weren't entitled to rather than £50 cash. I'm based down south again this season so hoping the season tickets for 'new' fans aren't too steep.
on the offish it says renewal prices, do you think i can expect for the general sale price to be the same? My phone is so slow that above 2 posts came in while it was posting!
Interesting article on the BBC about customer value in the PL comparing league position to average ticket price. QPR were the poorest value last year as we could have guessed. But more to the point, the majority of clubs are freezing prices next season so our new deal is not so special. So, unless there is a quantum leap in performance we can expect to be poorest value again next term. Is that what we deserve?
Until we get a new stadium which can hold more fans and therefore give the opportunity to lower individual season ticket/matchday ticket prices, I'm afraid we're always going to be around the bottom of that table QPAAAAAGH. Unless we somehow finish in the top 5 next year having scored the most goals at home and won the most home games of anyone in the league... unlikely. I think now that our Prem status is confirmed, training ground plans are in place and the club is on an upward curve, significant developments in planning and building a new stadium has to be the next big project.
Its a great price for renewal especially when considering the money invested by the board. Well done.
Not sure what people realistically expected to be honest. Under £50 for my two sons and me. I am very happy with that and certainly wouldn't expect to pay any less.
For another year in the Premiership I think it is a decent enough deal. We couldn't have expected a reduction given the amounts that are due to be spent in the summer.
Cheers lads, I think that is the way to go. If I can't get the the time off work my wife can take them, she loves football.
I was one of the voices complaining last year about the way Amit handled the 'substantial refund' saga and the way we were given it in vouchers, but i really cannot understand some of the abuse that he and Tony are getting over this years prices (Thankfully not on here but via twitter). The prices this year include the discount AND with the investment the owners are making it seems like a pretty good deal to me. What do these people expect ffs ?? Do they think we have signed the likes of Cisse, Zamora and now hopefully Diakite and Taewo for nothing ?? Tony and Amit are investing their money so maybe we as fans should invest some of ours. Remember last year we were paying top dollar WITHOUT investment, and that's definatly something yopu can't say about the new owners.I for one will be renewing asap and I'm looking forward to a bloody good season....hope to see you all there
The only thing i can say to you mate is how much was the feeling you got when Cisse scored that winner against Stoke worth ??.......to me it was PRICELESS . And thats something surveys like that can never show .
Looks like they've abandoned the £30 surcharge for extra loyalty points to get away ticket priority. I assume loyalty points still apply but can only be earned by games attended... Edit - no, I'm wrong. The Sooperhoop upgrade gives 30 additional loyalty points
