Afternoon all, Unable to get to regular games because of work commitments, and just wondering what everyones first impressions are of loanee Dale Stevens? Will he make an impact as we push towards automatic promotion? Does he look like one to try and keep for next season? I know he's only had one appearance - but what are everyones first impressions?
Firstly and foremost welcome to the site samgrice.........We welcome your contribution. Any problems or questions please PM either myself or Kingsland and we will do what we can to help.......Finally do not forget to tell your friends....It does not matter what team they support they are all represented on here.....Enjoy. Now to your question......firstly I think we will be purchasing the lad in the summer.......Also he seemed to fit in straight away, obviously it is only a first impression but he did look the part I must say.
He didn't at all look out of place so I thought that was a good sign. I'm pleased we've bought him in as it brings even more competition for places in the midfield and if his form earlier in the season with Oldham is to go by he can order a decent goal threat from the centre midfield, something perhaps Morgan and Hammond unfortunately don't offer (enough of anyway). Good addition to have in the run in. I'd be surprised if he doesn't sign permanently in the summer.
Good call there. I am certain that he will be added to our full time squad come the summer which if he continues as he has started might be a very good thing.
Let's hope it's not too bad, but probably out for a game or two at least. Lallana may have been taken off as a precaution (hopefully).
A real shame he got injured today. He looked really good before that. Lets hope he isn't out for too long
The way things are going it is the injuries that concern me the most. We have just won the 6th game in 7 and I think only Brighton can match that. Not sure??
Hopefully he isn't out for too long as he was good cover and competition for CM, though luckily we have Gobern back who is promising and straight out of our academy. It's not as bad as it seems.
Hopefully Oscar has learned that flying drop kicks don't work on the football pitch. Was good to see him come on as it will have been a big plus for him after the sending off.
