A time to reflect on the comedy moments of this season Saints wise/others. In terms of Saints a couple of thing which hold in my mind are... The guy running around with the umbrella made me laugh. My favourite moments were some of the half time relays, especially the last one of the season where the bloke kicked his mate's ball away.
Peterborough away when the man in the purple suit and top hat went past and everyone started singing "there's only one Willy Wonka" at him! Also, Guly's warm up shooting was quite funny.
Not this season, but last season at Portsmouth v Ipswich one of the players booted the ball out of the pitch and it sailed into the crowd. A person stood up and instead of trying to catch it or punch it, he headed it straight back onto the pitch, leading to chants of "Sign him up!". That was quite amusing.
I was at Reading back in the 80's I think. It was a cup game. We were First Division back then and Reading Second. Anyway, there was a bit of a ruckus in front of us and the police piled in to grab someone out of the crowd and ........ they pulled his leg off. Honestly. There was a big intake of breath before everyone realised it was false one. Just about the funniest thing I can recall seeing at a footie game.
Good story and reminds me of another one this season...Steward slapping a fan (was it millwall home?), unacceptable but pretty funny...

Nearly as funny as the fact that you couldn't even beat a team that was in administration and in the relegation zone. Still, at least you didn't lose 4-1 again!
The funniest moment for me is how fans of a team that goes into administration, gets relegated and is at risk of liquidation clings on to grabbing a late equaliser at their rivals. Especially as it made no difference to the direction each team was heading.
No, I think the funniest moment is how the fans of a team that completely bottled winning the league and manages a spectacular two points against their rivals who they haven't beaten in 8 years clings on to one run by their player that ultimately had no end product and had little impact on the game
