Now I know I will be slated for writing this, but Wayne Routledge had a great game for QPR last night against Sheff Utd. He was the only Prem quality player on the pitch, and madfe Tarrabt look comparitvely average, as well as scoring a cracking finish. And he played on the left, so will be a great player as cover for both wings. Anyone else watch him, and what are your thoughts?
He also missed a couple which were probably easier than the one's he scored. Just don't think he's good enough for the PL wouldn't be surprised if QPR have him from us on a permanent deal and have got shot of him by January. Don't know if it's just nerves in the Prem or what but always looks out of his depth but a good player in the Championship.
The lad must hate January as it usually sees him off on loan. Good player but must be something lacking from his game at the top tier to be shipped out all the time. Not exactly sure what it is though as he has decent pace, tenacity, crossing ability as well as a decent eye for goal.
We all went through this last night and as the vast majority don't think he is good enough for the Prem and every Prem manager he has had have deemed him surplus to requirements surely that means that he simply is not good enough!
Giggs will have retired by the end of next season. Besides, no one at Utd can be called a back up. They play one week, then don't the next week...
