Correct. When we play against clubs with a big name, we tend to do better than against no-marks like Blackpool who seem to think they have some budding rivalry with us.

Yeah we gave west ham a run for there money both times we played them but I am glad they have gone because the squad had some class acts within it.

Will Blackpool hang onto there stars? Will they reinvest and go again? I'm not too sure but over the season west ham were the 3rd best team in the league so I'm glad to see the back of them.

Although I couldnt help but cheer on Blackpool during the game. <confused>

same, there's just something likeable about Blackpool...maybe it's the orange kit. or Holloway.

Blackpool had some hilariously embarrassing-looking fans in their crowd at Wembley - well, in the areas they'd actually sold tickets. Most of them looked like wig-wearing satsumas.

I wanted Blackpool to win but the West Ham board deserve credit for hanging on to their best (and expensive) players and gambling on an instant return to the Premier League. I suspect that if Bates ever had to make that decision he would opt for a fire sale. Of course, had West Ham not gone up they might have faced serious financial problems but as it is they'll be £90m better off instead.
