Nope, not Grant Holt, Kieron Dyer!! <yikes>

He played a total of 7 minutes this season. Tremendous acquisition <doh>

How on earth has he managed to wrangle yet another new contract?

Wow he must have some dirt on the manager or the board. That is truly ridiculous, how do players like him keep getting contracts, he has hardly played in the last few years

The main reason this is stupid is that it takes up a place in a squad of just 25. If he gets injured which is likely given his past he will occupy a squad place for at least half a season limiting their options. Crazy crazy QPR

Is there not a provision for replacing a long-term injured squad member?

Only QPR would give him a new contract.

I'm surprised if Hughes actually realised that Dyer was already there!

I think they can only change it during transfer windows unless there are exceptional circumstances but that tends to mean goalkeeper injuries. Could be wrong though

As crazy as it appears, such comments may come back to bite us on the bum <yikes> but all the same it is incredible that he has been given a new contract. As suggested above if it is pay and play it is perhaps not quite so bad but it could potentially take up a squad place, which may or may not become significant.

......"HAD" is very much the defining word. he has played so little in the last few years it would be impossible for anyone to tell if he was any good now.

    Hucks has just RT'd this:

Kieron Dyer has signed a new one-year contract at #QPR. He's played 90 mins once since 2007 and has 143 @fantasyleague points in 183 games.
