I am surprised about this but Hughes must see something in him. Hopefully he can get himself fit and do a job. If we can get 15-25 games out of him it may be an astute signing but thats what we said last year.
Is he our new physio? Seen enough of the medical room to be an expert. Maybe we are sponsoring his nursing degree?
He must have something we didnt see in his 3 minutes playing time last season!!!! Guess its a case of trusting the Managers got it right
IanJTaylor‏@IJTaylor81 Lots being said about Dyer situation (wages, injury record etc), but his last injury was a new one and he was excellent in pre-season #QPR
IanJTaylor‏@IJTaylor81 He's also a top class professional - first in and last to leave - and a great role model for the younger players at the Club. #QPR
....and who knows what the contract as. Dyer must understand his position and the club are presumably taking advantage of this and taking an informed risk as thy did last year.
Now I'm starting to get worried. First Buzsaky and now Dyer. Buz is one thing but I can't get my head around this one. What the hell is Sparky thinking?
The club may not have had a choice in this. I saw elsewhere speculation that it may have been in the contract he signed under Warnock that if we escaped relegation he automatically got a years extension. Sounds plausible if true.
I think the club is actually showing it understands us supporters perfectly; everything's been going too well, we need something to moan about!
Well who wouldn't have a good pre-season against the likes of Bodmin Town, Tavistock and Creepy Crawley
You alright Kerry? That unidentified humming noise getting to ya or summat? The fact is, when this kind of thing was happening last year, the Uber Optimists were saying that everything was great and we were making good signings. It soon became evident however, that the Goons were not backing COLIN and we were left with a Mickey Mouse squad. Obviously we're not in the same place but there can be no logical explanation that I can see, for us signing these two Muppets. One hasn't been on form for three years and the other hasn't played a full game in three years.
Baffling. I can see a place for Buz in the 25 - we can't afford two top class teams like Citeh - as emergency cover, but Dyer? Unless he's pencilled in for right back cover? But for who - I think we need a new RB, allow Onouha back into the middle - he's not mobile enough for RB, Young starting to look dodgy by Christmas. If Dyer makes it into the 25 I'll be astounded, if he doesn't I'll be furious - money for nothing. Grinners may be right.
not to me, wed have got rid of him in January if that was the case. The club had confirmed we had an option to terminate his contract then.
Has done nothing wrong since joining. He looked good in last pre-season and his fitness looked really good. As a player who's been blighted by different Injuries I for one will shout him on if I get to see him this year. Good luck and Grats KD
