Did we love him, yes, even when he was ****e.. Do we love him now, not a chance, don't want his sulking mood anywhere near our club! He left for better things (read money) and medals, etc.. he may have got the medals, but what is their true worth when deep down you know you did next to nothing in achieveing/help win those medals? Agree with what's been said, Mascher, Alonso earned their medals and went for the right reasons (to great clubs too), they both said and did the right things, Xabi's been back a few times to Anfield and Mascher said that the CL medal (won against the Mancs) was for the LFC fans too, didn't hear Torres saying anything similar after he picked up his medal.
I would like to just point to something here. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18139581 read the headline "Unhappy Fernando Torres considers his Chelsea future" please log in to view this image I think something doesn't add up... cos he looks a bit happy to me!
I still say balague has had this interview in his pocket for awhile now and let it out to cause trouble. If not, what angle is Torres looking to gain? Who would sign him? Italian teams ( Juve maybe?) back home to Athletico?
Only Spanish team (maybe Malaga since they have cash?) he would go to right now considering the A.Madrid/R.Madrid issue IMO. Failing that, Italy (Juve, Milan, Inter), France (PSG) or Russia (the rich ones)...?
