Out of these teams (below), 3 will get relegated. Which players would you want to sign from these teams if they get relegated:
    For me it would be.
    Wigan
    - Rodallega - can't see him coming though.
    - McCarthy - Same as above as Chelski are interested.
    - Figueroa - backup LB, but is bad defensively.
    - Victor Moses - Good youth, good prospect, better than Nile
I don't want the Zog, and I can't really think of any more players from here.
    Wolves
    - Jarvis - although Liverpool and Tottenham are interested.
    - Doyle - Good striker, might come
    - O'HAra - even though he is on loan, Im sure Spurs would let him come to us.
    Birmingham
    - R Johnson - could partner Collocini and he is better than Willo, IMO.
    - Seb LArsson - would be a good RM in 4-2-3-1 formation
    - Oba - another loanee and I would love to see him back here.
    - Scott Dann - Looks like he will go to Manure I think, but would be a quality signing.
Im struggling to think of Brum players so help me with this.
    Villa
    - Agbonlahor - he is being pushed out by Houllier, would love see him here, the pace in needed.
    - A Young, D Bent are out of our reach.
    - Downing - another player who I would like to see here, but Id rather have Jonas and Ben Arfa of the left.
    - Dunne or Collins - More potential CBs to partner Collo.
    - Warnock - cover for Jose maybe.
    - I reckon their youth will stay there, for example Albrighton and Delph.
    West Ham
    - Demba Ba - would fit in our team easily.
    - C Cole - Nooooooo!!!
    - R Green - would definately get into our team, world class on his day.
    Blackpool
    - C Adam - He won't come here, no chance.
    - DJ Campbell - his goal against us was quality, but I'd rather have Kevin GAmeiro or Moussa Sow than him if were going for Europe next year.

obviously their are some good players who could get relegated
I would hate Oba back here though
and unless Villa go down I don't want us signing any relegated players

  3. I'd pay 15m for D.Bent.

Top quality PL player that will score 20 goals a season. I'd have him in a heart beat and he'd be worth the large amount of money!

bent will always get goals he is proven time and time again. but in all honesty villa wont go down and he will stay there. as for oba he is hit and miss scores the hard and spectacular goals but misses the sitters we need a proven goal scorer not a hit and misser

    I wouldn't want Oba back.

I have fond memories of some cracking goals he scored but these are marred with too many missed sitters and wild shots from distance.

He was one of the first players that wanted out after relegation as well.

Anyway; if he couldn't survive on the £75k a week we paid him last time then he's screwed if we force him to live on £50k a week.

People keep banging on about Darren Bent. I think he is a great striker, but I just want to bring up one thing.

Darren Bent - proven at this level, scores goals, and since his move to Aston Villa, he has 5 goals in 9 games. A great return.

Leon Best - unknown entity at this level, and so far has 6 goals in 10 games. Thats a sensational return. Especially as everyone seemed to of made their mind up that he couldnt cut it at this level. People are now saying he isnt good enough,a nd would be their back up choice. Why? He is still young (24), and is obviously still adapting and learning to the Premier League. Which means he will only get better.

I would love Bent at Newcastle, despite the Mackem links, but I think so many people are quick to dismiss the potential of Best. You transcend 6 goals in 10 games over a season, and it works out as more than 20 goals. And I would rather spend 1.5 mil on a player who can score goals as opposed to 24 million!!

yeah but 3 of bests goals came in 1 game. he could be good and score a few but only time will tell. but he will never get 20 a season thats for sure. and as for bent yeah he may have 5 in 9 which is good but tbh he has consistently scored 20 + a season where ever he has gone. he wont come to us anyway cos villa wont go down

But thats like saying Bent scored two in one game this weekend, so therefore he only has 3 in 8.....which isnt as impressive. Im not doubting that Bent is a great goal scorer, I dont feel he has alot to his game than that but you want a striker to put the ball in the net. Im just merely stating that people want to spend like 15 mil on him when Best has shown already he can put the ball in the net. I think another season at this level and Best will be a heck of a player, I really do.

Neither Best or Bent are renowned as the greatest headers of the ball, with 2 wingers in HBA & Jonas plus Joey we could really do with playing at least 1 decent header. I'd try to find a big man/little quick man combo. Though I wouldn't mind seeing Bent/Gabby playing alongside each other for us.
