You ain't from da manor so you ain't got Arsenal in yer viens according to HotFlush BTW - Whilst I grew up in South London and used to go to every home game, all London derbies and a few oop North. I live further away than both you and Cym these days, but I still make the effort to get to a few games each season. I'm not trying to 'wear my badge of honour' or ram it down anyone's throat - But I just think it's pathetic for someone to try and say we aren't 'proper fans' or that we're 'prawn sarnie eaters' because we don't live in Holloway. What's more pathetic is that his view is from someone who doesn't even bother to turn up and support his team even though he claims to live a stones throw from the stadium. I know there's lots of reasons why people can't get to games, but that in my view makes him less of a 'proper fan' than someone who lives hundreds of miles away and finds it difficult to get to games.
I agree, it shouldn't be about where you live, it should be about how you feel about the club. I know the other night i drunkenly said some harsh things about this club, but the truth is i love Arsenal with all my heart, and am proud to call myself a gooner.
never been to the emirates. been to 1 arsenal game (in wigan last season). this is because i live on the continent. watch every game i can online. does this mean i'm not a proper fan?
No Kyle - don't take it personally - only PESKY the Millwall fan isn't. You guys are cool Some of the things said were said in anger, but PESKY the "follow fashion Arsenal fan" is the type of fan I detest - spineless @rse licker who accepts mediocrity as our lot.
Haha, we're 2 days without football and already at each others throats! Thank god for the Euros or we'd implode.
Listening to you guys argue about who a proper fan is hilarious. I doubt very much the owners care about your blood and guts support, more about the colour of your money when buying tickets and merchandise. Times have changed lads, it's all about money and glory. I think i see a few more people with Man City and Chelsea tops on......
Yup. A guy at work wore his Chelsea replica shirt underneath his suit ... and exposed it to people throughout the day. Never seen him with any Chelsea stuff before .. admittedly I did know he was a Chelsea fan.
Like I said - if only you had a clue. You've been chattin **** all the way through this thread, should of ducked out when you had the chance please log in to view this image
Shhhh .. I told you to keep quiet Pesky, you closet Charlton fan ! Its no wonder you support Arsenal when all your local teams are sh!te - Crystal Palace, Millwall, Charlton
