Leeds will get a very good fee for White who has progressed Internationally remember. The thing is, can Celtic afford to pay it? I think Leeds players are sitting on their contracts waiting for a look at who is signing for us before commiting. Can't believe Clayton would go to Burnley, would end his career. Interesting times ahead.

Good afternoon all, what a lovely day it is up here in Leeds and peerhaps the sun is coming out this week. Except over ER and TA. First....White to Celtic again means it is merely an agreed fee between the two clubs or it goes to a tribunal. Whichever it is, we should have signed up White a long time ago on a good contract. Second....if Warnock leaves, is it because he is not being backed or because he has not bee nable to actually get rid of the people he said he wanted to get rid of? His short-termism has been costing us already, and I am starting to believe the Papa / Colin dream team is just a nightmare of mammoth proportions. Third....if the rumour is true and Warnock does go (plus he has his holiday to think it all through with the missus), how are the happy chappies going to be feeling, and how will the season ticket holders who have already forked out for next season be feeling? Fourth....the sticky from me about the 2012 LUFC squad has not had anything new to update since it was written 10 days ago. Last year's explosion of activity seems to have continued into this year. Fifth....none of the players we have offered revised contracts to have signed them But I am being premature (as I am with many things), so take it all with a pinch of salt, sit back, relax, and wait for those signings to roll in, two-by-two

After reading various views, opinions and rumours, i just hope the majority are just wanting to put pen to paper and see themselves writing, lets sit back be patient and wait and see what happens.....MOT dont forget
I can't understand why, if it were true it would be because Bates has refused to release funds or broke promises, so under those circumstances you would expect (A) that we can attract anyone of any kind of quality and (B) they would be expected to turn around a team of players that finished 14th without Snoddy, McCormack and White because they sure as hell would not sign a contract.
How can any ofthis be construed as "gloomy"? Seriously, I did state that we should just sit back and relax and wait for the signings to come in But both parts of 1 are true - part a being fact and part b being opinion Numbers 2 and 3 are a response ot a rumour put on here by someone else Numbers 4 and 5 are facts

You'd be delighted if it's proven once and for all, conclusively, that Bates has shafted even the most qualified manager for the job, the one we all thought would turn a corner and actually force him for funds? I'd be on the train down to Leeds baying for blood, thinking '**** my exams, my football club needs as many people tearing down that cream-clad **** as possible to sent a message to the worst chairman in our history'. Or something like that. But definitely not happy.
Warnock not going anywhere, if he was he would have announced it. Colin doesn't do rumours, he's at the biggest club in his career and he wants a promotion with Leeds. The SPL may well be the right league for White to shine, he can go and beat up St Mirren, Inverness, Hibs and all the other crap every week and look good without trying.
