Hell No. I seen him put in many solid games for us, not least this season. Have never understood all the abuse he got on here.

 

Funny how people see players differently. I always thought his heart wasn't in it. The slightest knock and he'd be looking over at the bench begging to come off.

I'll repeat what I said on the similar thread: the manager should have spoken to him personally, especially after 5 years service.

 

I think it's perfectly acceptable for Phil Beard to do it. He runs the company after all. Surely Hall didn't think he had a chance of being retained or are footballers that deluded of their own ability?

 

Spot on Watford. Phil Beard or Mike Rigg, who I understand is responsible for contracts, entirely the right people for this. In my company and most others it would be The dreaded HR. perhaps we should get George Clooney in from 'Up In The Air' to handle this.

 

We don't know the circumstances, perhaps OneSize had asked to be notified as soon as possible, but I think Beardie would be good for this anyway.

Bit harsh on Borrowdale. He was never a NW player and at least went out on loan to Barnet to try to keep his career going (think of players like SWP & Barton who have not done anything for the club that are still there). dave and his comedy shooting boots, Vine and the splinters in his arse, One Sze with his comedy defending are players I wont miss.

 

That's his level alright.
