well at least he can see the defenders in the way and doesnt try to blast the ball thru them , i suppose thats an improvement on walcott. He thinks defenders are invisible and wont actually deflect the ball .
With your defensive problems, you'd be silly not to take BAE or Kaboul (our best defender) too. But we're happy to keep them !
We have the personnel, it's the system thats flawed. You could put Gerard Pique and Thiago Silva at CB for us, and we'd still concede an insane number of goals.
I'd take Kyle Walker, would be good competition for Sagna and better prospect than Jenkinson. He probably more likely to stay though than the likes of Modric and Bale who've said they want to play for a club who are in the CL
pique is actually a terrible defender. at fault for the majority of barca's goals. silva is decent. agree about the system though
Totally agree, it's our system that is the problem. Our team as a whole does not defend as a unit and easily loses concentration. Through loss of concentration we switch off and stop closing down players. Also it doesn't help when some of our players go on walkabouts....
he's not a great defender though. watch barca's games and you will see that. theres a reason man utd let him go...
Adebayor is a quality addition to any squad. Wenger would get him scoring again but.. Im not sure about him though - mainly because he's a douche.
i havent forgotten him running the length of the pitch to celebrate in front of us . I would like him to ask if he can come back just so we can tell him to.. f@ck off !.
Look at him as a footballer not as a spurs player, and yes if rvp goes we would need him, he is a fantastic player nobody can deny that and he doesn't seem to have a future at city and spurs don't have champions league football next year so we could maybe get him on the cheap or if worst comes to worst and rvp does go to city a swap deal plus money
