Lads,that's my lot,I've had a tremendous amount of fun but a season of...Guess the Gate,Guess the Score and latterly, Guess the Play-Offs on top of mod involvement,Bristol City Fan Society and general forum fun has involved me so much and taken up so much of my time I honestly need a break,anybody on our forum who wants to do a prediction league next year please step forward,it's all yours,fan society is there for a new force,I am even thinking of stepping down from mod duties. I have been severly affected by the loss of Natch and even cjs not winding me up is a miss but thanks for the fun,it's been a blast...
Yes, Wiz, don't step down as MOD- we do all need you. You've done a tremendous job developing this site; it is no accident that the Bristol City site is the 5th best in the championship, and I'm pretty sure that without your drive and enthusiasm we would be nowhere near that. However I do appreciate the demands of time involved, and if no-one else volunteers, I'll take on the Guess the score and Guess the attendance for the next season. My geographical location means that i can only get to a handful of games each season, so I'm not really qualified to comment or current performances or individuals or team selection or any politics, so if anyone else volunteers to run the Guess the score / attendance, they would be probably be more savvy than myself and I'd defer to that.
Brilliant Manxrobin, that's great to hear,can I suggest you come up with some form of format for the Euro's that are not far off and that will give you a head start for next season league games,indeed the Euro's need setting out ASAP,so any other interested members please join in with your idea's... Hi, Wiz, sorry I'm late catching up- will collate a Euros guess the score ready for Sunday. My thinking is to take each round of 8 games as a section, so then there will be three rounds, before the knock-out stage. Give 1 point for the result win, lose, draw - and 5 points for each result guessed accurately. Does that sound feasible. Anyway I'll draw up rules etc. and put them out on Sunday 27th, which gives us 2 weeks before the games start. Lhiats
