For many people will not have a legal right to a day off on the extra public holiday that has been declared for Tuesday, 5 June. So, if we have a virtual street party to celebrate Her Gracious and Glorious Majesties Diamond Jubilee, hope I got that right, divnt want to lose me heed, what plans do we make.. Who will bake the cakes? Do we have beer or a more refined wine? What about entertainment, audition tapes please? Who will form our Jubilee Celebration Committee? Some tips from Cest who sent in this picture of himself at his promotion party please log in to view this image I think Cest looks well! I do appologise for being a Republican (fair do's if the Queen won the vote and was President Queen) and I will wish you all the best in your endeavours but sadly I will not be partaking. Though if there is a spare plastic bowler hat as I'm a bit partial to them
Jeez the Republicans in America don't half give the idea of an elected president a bad press, oh and the French, err the Germans too, thank god for Silvio Berlusconi ... Where's this party at then Syd? I've got the reciepe for Nigella's Cheese Straws
NO no you misunderstand me exish lass is a teacher and won't benefit at all from the holiday, as all techers won't, ****S!!
Bloody Hell. We agree on something as well Redan. I am no Monarchist and also wont be celebrating the occasion at all. In fact the sickening royal arse licking that will ensue for the 48 hours, the TV will be turned off too.
Well I will be working 12 hour dayshifts on both the bank holiday Monday and Tuesday.. Although the treble time payments I will receive for my trouble is some compensation..
