No they didn't. Blackpool were relegated first season in premiership, Hull 2nd season. They got off to flying starts because they were unknown players, Newcastle got off to a flying start and maintained it by buying real class players. They wont do as well next season though.
In the League, you're almost certainly right. But having a European run would count as a better season imo, I just hope we don't get dumped out in the early stages
I'm thoroughly enjouying having Martin O'Neill as our manager. You know him, hes's the whiney little bitch that EVERY mag wanted after Fat Sam and Hughton were bladdered? He only had just over half a season last term (24 games and a quarter final in the FA Cup) with Bruces players and we were 3rd bottom with 11 points in 14 games when he took over. HJe didnt spend a single penny turning it round though. Care for a bet that we wont be in the bottom half next season? Any amount you choose and I'll add an extra bet that we will be top dogs again next season, as we have been for 3 out ofd the last 4 and you can use that as your footnote all next year as well if you like.

Na, You can get ****ed for anything you put on the web nowadays mate. If you Google 'Alan Pardew Wife' you'll note that nothing comes up, I know this isn't proof of the injunction, but it's as good as you can get (considering she made the news due to her ilness a while back...where's that gone?). As for the injunction, we know Pardew plows all of his employees wives (is rumoured to), not commendable but I personally don't care as long as he manages us well. I suggest the injunction will tell us nowt we didn't expect. When's the injunction due to end?
