Just read that Yakubu is set to pay Blackburn £1m to become a free agent.

£ 1m for the Yak off the back of 17 league goals? Yes please. Hope he's on O'Neills radar

£1million is not even a worry with a man who has scored throughout his career.

He'd be an excellent addition (although i'd still want more besides, Yak & Holt would be a brutal frontline!)

You'd know you'd been in a game as a defender against Holt & Yakubu eh?

Rhodes, looks the part, but the last striker to come through Huddersfield was J. Stead. This terrifies me.

We need to think bigger. Falcao, Neymar, and Gary Hooper for Elmo to West Ham.

    I like your thinking.

Will Milan swap us Kevin Prince Boateng for Gardner?

(He is the perfect midfielder for us, we could have had him2 years back...)

His workrate might but his goals wont. Thats where Kenwyne fell way short imo. If he had been as laid back but scoring 15 to 20 goals a season I'd have been happy. between 7 and 12 was crap.

Yakubu has a scoring average of a goal every 2.5 games. He can wear his pyjamas and slippers during games with those stats.

I fear that a rather large herbal farm has a crack in it's insulated walls, and the fumes have began to leak, hence leading to a heightened senses and a craving for pizza and chicken kebabs with extra hot chill sauce.

Apparently it was, but he seems to have sorted it, and is one of the most important players in the Milan side now, he drives them on superbly, is physical, and can shoot.

We need a 'game by the scruff of the neck' player, we ain't had one since Hutch.

Aye, but we have no hope of trying to convince him, or more importantly his WAG; to move from Milan to Wearside. Although a few years back he was in Portsmouth...

He would be a brilliant player for us though. But we can dream!

Aye, the ship has sailed mate, well and truly.

There's not many players of that ilk about to find, certainly not within our price range.

If he even has thoughts of going to China, I wouldn't touch him. Means he's not 100%in it for the footy.

Rremember the story about him, his wag and a pulled muscle? <laugh>
