Spurs fans are racing ahead of themselves mate, pre Redknapp you never had a chance of winning the title since Bill Nick's day and with Redknapp the same applies,he taken you as far as you'll get and as far as he can take you.

Ok a **** ruling robbed you of the CL place you earned through the league, but thats not Redknapp's fault, you slate us for banging on that if our record achievement of hitting the woodwork more than any other team had been on target we would have been at least third yet your banging on about results that you feel you should have won,Spurs of today are a truly great club and play some nice football but consistancy wins the league title and its your points at the end of the season that matter not the fact that during the season you led the table.

Who will you get if 'Arry gets the sack?

It wouldn't suprise me if he jumped ship anyway, should he get an inkling that Bale, modric et al are going to leave. Every club he's managed he's jumped when the good times start to dwindle.

He has done a great job taking Spurs from under achievers to a solid top 4/5 club but it is obvious he thought that he was off to manage England and that affected the performance on the pitch and that cost you 3rd. Who know's he may take a "break" from football while he waits (hopes) for Hodgson to screw things up with England.

Of course he would Luke but that didn't happen did it so he's not being hailed as a hero. It's no use talking about ifs. If we'd have beaten the Hoops we'd be in the CL. However as I said last season Europa is better than no Europe so let's make the most of it,play our strong squads and win it.

Our friend from the home of perpetual delusion (this year was a blip) has it right; Although maybe I wouldn't have put it quite as strongly.

We have limited means and a limited appeal to top players and managers. This will NOT change unless we get into the CL or build a bigger ground. We are punching above our weight (please don't tell me we aren't) against clubs with cash we could only dream of and we are a gnat's nut away. What is the answer you may ask? Surely not to sack a manager who has given us stability not known sinse Burkinshaw's days and get another succession of untried (no way do we attract a top name) managers to take us back to mid table for a few years?

The past few hours have been ****ing tough for us all. I can't ever remember feeling as down about our lot in life. That is because we had a lot to lose. As painful as it is, I would prefer that situation than being tenth and having **** all to worry about.

By the way; Bilic signed for Lokomotiv Moskow last week. Cross him off your lists.

This is good stuff. It all comes down to whether the team performed better or worse than expected over the whole season. Harry has his limitations but no-one would have turned down the final PL table at the beginning of the season. Especially with the **** luck we had. We got 4th with the 6th biggest budget. That is success not failure. the fact that good results came in bursts isn't really relevant.

I still think Harry isn't a real top manager but we could easily get worse.

What a bunch of ungrateful, delusional, fine weather fans.

Without Harry you would have been lucky to maintain your traditional mid-table position. You need to wake up and smell the coffee and be grateful that he dragged you up from the bottom of the league.

Plenty of other managers could have done the same - Harry likes to take too much credit for that.

Oh you Spuds are deluded, please remember who it was that dragged you out of the relegation scrapheap and has made Spurs a top 6 team, given you CL football (and would have done so AGAIN) had it not been the fact Chelsea won last night with their incredible luck!

I'm far from Arry's biggest fan but my god you Spuds don't realize how good you've had it lately.

Lee,Arsenal fans have called for Wenger's head and some City and Utd fans for their managers heads,we are not unique. We cannot be grateful forever and get nowhere which is where we are going with Harry.....nowhere. There are a couple of managers who could do a good job for us as I said,Bilic and Dortmund's boss. If push comes to shove I would give him one more year with no pathatic court and England distractions with the present set up but with a new striker.....but certainly no longer.

Is this the location where 'Hoddle Is A God' will explain to me why he wants 'Arry axed?

  13. Instead of speaking for the sake of hearing your own stupid voice, why don't you read this thread, and perhaps you might glean what us Spurs fans actually think (including me), instead of spouting off your stupid bell-end comments.

But, of course, you're not interested in that, are you?

The sooner you are banned from this board, the better we will all be <ok>

Please remove that juicy bitter lemon out of your mouth before you start talking to me like that, sir.

After following your instructions, I have noticed that many fans do want him out and on top of that are 'upset with him' like you are and have admitted to 'probably having to SUFFER another season with him in charge'.

Remind me where you were before he took over? Remind me where you are now just 4 years after?

You've got no ****ing idea how good you've had it, a lot of you on here seem to think you now have a God given right to be in the Champions League. Not having any of that.

Get real and appreciate what he's done for you and I'm saying this about a person I can't stand.

I feel I should point out that Harry took over a team that had just finished 5th 2 seasons in a row and then won a cup.
So far in his complete seasons Harry has finished 4th once (when Liverpool/man city did their best not to get 4th) and then finished 5th twice.

Doesn't actually seem like _that_ much of an improvement to me tbh.

So all those saying he dragged us fom nowhere need to get their facts right.

To be fair though, we are playing nice stuff (before was good too, ignoring Ramos, but better now) and we at least have a chance of beating he big boys.

Harry took his eye off the ball this year and we paid for it. If that wasn't bad enough he then blames everything and everybody else ("paper thin" squad where he sent a load away in jan). I think it's the latter blaming that most fans are a bit miffed with

Its not much of an improvement but its stability while spending very little.

Tbh thats exactly what we need at the moment because the new stadium is of utmost importance

Very true. But my point, badly expressed, is that Harry hasn't worked miracles like people are suggesting, and I don't think it's inconceivable that other managers could've done the same or better

A very thin line between success and failure..however how come the same teams find success it seems?

what changes must be made? im not definatly saying Harry out..as i dont know how to pinpoint this problem at our club..even though i did want him out when he was whoring around the England post.

however all those that are saying stuff like he got us top 4 then some top 5 finishes and therefore we should stick with him..i just need them to explain this logic to me..and the wisdom...apart from 'luck'...what made this happen?

the next hottest manager getting appointed at Chelsea....within a year he is sacked...he is replaced by a manager who was dire for WBA...but he just guided chelsea to an FA cup and champions league trophy and an obvious improvement in their performances...

who made the decision to replace AVB? what was the wisdom? how can the same players start playing like world beaters? tell me if any of that scenario was down to anything but mentality..be it balls by the chairman....or a better relationship between players and managers..so much so that they shot up 3 gears easily in order to perform like they have done in the last 4 months.

what led to this? luck is the easy answer..or unlucky in our case as it seems to be.

however you want success you need balls!

we seem to be happy where we are because we havent had much success so we are happy with 5th...i hate to say it but it does feel a bit 'small club mentality' when we stand next to the big boys at the top of the EPL....if we happy with that then be happy with being 'also rans' for a long time to come.

until someone gives this club a mental shake up.

This is an interesting comment, so after you have spent 375 million building a new stadium, do you think you will suddenly be able to challenge for honours? I dont think so you will be paying for the stadium and spending very little on playing staff for the first 5 to 10 years.
