They all went to clubs with more money than you who inevitably attract better players and win more things - why are you surprised?

A lot of very upset fans really - seeing former players lifting big trophies after leaving us, whilst we continue to come up short. I think the following from SuperJack is the best post on this thread:
Can't say I'm happy seeing Chelsea win the CL either, but seeing the Spuds being robbed of CL football was pretty funny. And to be honest, Chelsea will strengthen again in the summer regardless, because they've got a bottomless pit to do so. Spurs on the other hand were much closer to us in terms of spending ability and pushing for a top 4 slot. As much as I hate seeing ****y chops Terry and Lampard kissing that trophy, them winning is better for Arsenal in terms of how much Spurs will be able to challenge us next season, especially as it makes it more likely that Modric, Bale and Adebayor will ditch them for a CL club.
You can't really begrudge Chelsea their win, they gave it their all and it was almost tunnel vision for most of their players. They wanted it so bad and at the end deserved to win it. I'm not a big fan of total defending, but they did show exactly how to defend well over the full course of a game, yet be clinical in front of goal when they had the few chances on offer. At the end of the day their tactics worked. They may differ from ours but they are valid and fair tactics. You had top quality sides in Napoli, Barca and Bayern up against them, they tried and failed. This is what the history books will show. As for Arsenal, we will continue in the same vain as we have from previous years. We simply don't have a winning mentality or a team good enough to win anything yet. Wenger will have another go next year and probably win nothng again. But we are all fans of Arsenal so should back the team. In time, probably soon, changes will happen, so we shouldn't be so downbeat.
Can't understand fans who are happy that Chelsea have won it so it knocks out Tottenham. Chelsea becoming the first London club to win it is awful for us. Far worse than Tottenham entering the qualifying round. Sad to see.
If it was left to an 'olloway boy who is from da manor and has Arsenal blood running through his veins like you, Arsenal would be playing in front of an empty stadium every home game.
To be honest, it's a bit rich for someone who lives in Holloway and doesn't bother to go to the games, to tell others that they're not 'proper fans'
Don't give me this budget argument, I'm not having it. Arsenal have never had the largest budgets but were able to win because Wenger bought WINNERS !
PISKIE - don't give me the money argument. for all the money Chelsea have spent they have reached 2 CL finals to our 1 !
