My opinion is given a run in a specific position I think he would do a good job. Prefer him in a central role but he is not a target man that MON likes.

Surely MON will decide and if he keeps him good if he doesn't so be it.

Before worrying about who goes out I would want to see who comes in. Close of window is the time to judge, not the beginning.

Since his return he has had some touches of brillance some touches that could get you arrested, no sorry that's TB and 'THAT GAME'<yikes>

He needs to get up to speed, however we have a front line that all need to.

So in reality we need to bring in two proven strikers to hit the ground running. As has been mentioned FC ain't MON's type of striker and he's no right winger. So if he stays around and comes good thats fine or if he goes and puts some money in the coffers also (not so)good. I think he is a model Pro and obviously likes the club so it would be great if he remains and builds on the pre injury form, GO FRAIZER!! (Sadly we don't have the luxury of time.)<erm>

remember this is Fraizer's last year unless we offer him a new contract. Should we get some money while we can or can he produce the goods to earn a new contract?

Its a massive year for Frazier whatever happens. He is not the fresh faced young kid anymore and needs at 25 in September, to be taking the No. 9 jersey for real somewhere. His career has stalled with injury and we have, as with Gordon, stood by the player but if he is going to be allowed to walk in 12 months time for nowt, maybe we should cash in now. Either that, or we offer him a new contract and go with him if MoN thinks he can do the business.

Personally, I really like this lad and think he has a refreshing and like able demeanour and professional stance. He is a great ambassador for SAFC and if he can get back to full fitness over the summer and claim that 2nd strikers berth I'd support him all the way. Likewise though, if MoN thinks it wont happen, then if he goes he does so with all the good wishes in the world and we move on with fresh faces.

I didn't realise his contract situation, so in reality sadly he has to go, we have two other gambles up front. Ji could be worth billions of ₩ to the club in and CW needs to live up to his price tag.

Adieu Frazier, good luck son <hug>

He'd be no great loss. He's no better than a David Nugent, Chopra or Beckford. Infaxct id say they are all better than him and there's about 10 other better forwards in the Championship

Gotta remember that Fraizer was bought at a time when we were still a yo-yo club by Keano (think it was Keano?), as he was better than Murphy (shivers saying that name). But now we are needing to move up to the next step, I don't think he will be it. He has pace, but to me he is a bit lightweight. I like the lad personally, but we are needing some guys who will muscle off defenders, make good runs and are deadly with their shooting boots.

Another possible transfer target is taking centre stage in the tabloid press this morning.

Several of the Sunday tabloids have Fulham showing an interest in the Sunderland striker - Fraizer Campbell

It seems as if the twenty-four year is about to start the last year of his contract and there has been no movement with regards to the offering of another one.

    One to watch perhaps?

    ------------------------

He's in the last year of his contract and Return On Investment is required by the club - although I do think the lad will be a good player once he is fully fit... If we get him to stay until January and prove his worth then wew could have a very good player

This has already been done mate.

He's in his final year of his contract so it's either sell now and get some cash while we can or offer him a new contract and put faith in him.

    I would let him go.

I thought this bloke was going to be the next big thing at your club?

He scored two cracking goals for you when he came back?
