It's a great "sign of intent" - to steal a cliche - that we've managed to sign this promising lad ahead of Fulham and Newcastle or whoever else was after him.

Yes by all reports a good signing... a lad that may be going places....and hopefully with Saints.

Any one local no much about the lad?
 
I'm local but I tend not follow Plymouth. I have no idea about the lad. I hope he's good. By the looks of it he is very promising.
 
Having already turned down Fulham after spending a few days up there it is a great signiong and shows as said before our intent.

The Chairman keeps doing as promised and I can see us collecting more talent and ending up with a squad filled with boys that have spent time in our academy.

Delighted with this news and that makes two youngsters who we feel are worthy of a full contract.

Despite inaccurate local press reports suggesting otherwise, Jack signs a three year contract with the club - the maximum contract length allowed to a scholar signing his first professional deal, as stated in the FIFA regulations.

One off Payment with no add-ons is great business. Remember we have to pay B'mouth 25% of Lallana's fee. I suspect we raised the price by about 25,000 to tempt Plymouth. It's horrid when you need the money as we well know. Let's hope they are saved somehow. Welcome to Saints, Jack.
