What an amazing night... I currently have carpet burns on my knees after promising at half time that I would do a celebratory shuffle on my knees if we won! <doh> My missus thought I was going to squeeze her to death when Drogs slotted that final pen, and I was so glad for little Juan that we won cos he wouldn't have deserved the devastation that he would have felt after missing his. Still can't quite believe it...

Found a couple of gems on the spuds boards too, f'ing morons:

    to which got this reply...

I will note however that not all the spuds fans have been quite so ignominious about our win, so it's not all of them, and props to those who have congratulated us :emoticon-0150-hands

Are Spurs fans supposed to be enthusiastic or gracious about Chelski stealing their champions league spot?

They didn't lose last night, so I do not understand where it is written that they have to suck up or be "good sports" to a team who, yes, got an awful lot of luck in winning the champions league...

You'd be ****ing spitting if it were the other way around, so why can't you celebrate on your own terms and not drag "bitterness" into it?

What I would say is that they might be taking it a touch too far with the corruption ****, given two of the best players in the world couldn't tap in a penalty to score... But yes, the luck Chelsea got was incredible. You reap what you so though, and those in Blue undeniably worked hard, so I very much doubt anybody who supports Chelsea will care a great deal that they did nothing for 88 minutes of normal time with regards ambition to win it. I'd enjoy Newcastle "stoke-ing" a cup final victory no doubt.

I refuse to congratulate a fan base on a victory though. Are we supposed to say "well done" for picking/being born near a team who just so happen to win a cup? The players deserve tje credit, the Chelsea fans the happiness.

Pretty sure the whole point was that the match fixing suggestions are unfounded and are a result of sour grapes and bitterness

Ignore them mate, some of them have been gracious and wished us well but the rest are simply jealous. We deserved it, let nobody tell you different!

Me too mate but the thought of Drogba's penalty is comforting me! It was simply a fairytale, probably his last kick in a blue shirt was his most important!

    Ranger fan in peace!

I've already said well done on another thread, but I'll say it again - well done on a bloody hard-worked victory!

For his sake, I almost hope that Drogba moves on now. Having won (I think) everything he could baring the Europa league and the Supercup, what better way to sign off from a club by scoring the game-drawing goal in open play, and the game winning penalty in the shoot out?

As for match-fixing, what a load of ****e. Put 55 shots on target during a game (I'm not sure if that stat is correct, but I saw it on another comment) or even 20 (which I think I saw) and the odds are that one will go in just through pure luck! A fantastic job by the keeper, and the defence.

Ps, if you would like to get shot of Drogba, I know a team just down the road that would take him :D

See you guys next season (Thank God!)
