Well congratulations to chelsea for winning the CL. Just feel a bit sorry for Spurs for missing out on the CL next season. They were 3rd or 4th most of the season. As for Bayern, it looks like déjà vu all over again. This time could be worse if that's possible. They were on home ground.
Well Done Chelsea ! It's great that another English club wins the Champions League and particularly as they beat the Germans on their own ground. After beating Barcelona in the semis, at last, I think their name was on the cup and every English football fan should be happy for them, except Spurs fans of course !
Probably the worst CL final team ever. Impressive conversion rate and Chec were the key, otherwise they were fkn sh!t over the last 3 games, congrats but not fkn well done In fact terribly terribly done but job done so no chav's gonna care how it was done
Was nothing to do with luck, Gomez had more than enough chances to win the game but he's always been a wasteful striker. He's average in the air for a big man and doesn't like a physical battle, plus he always tries fancy flicks and turns when he just doesn't have the skill to do it. If Bayern had Drogba up front he would of probably grabbed a hattrick at the very least. Congratulations to Chelsea though, they won ugly but a wins a win.
This. No point creating a bag of chances and dominating the game if you don't score them and let your opponent score from their only corner of the match. Particularly after wasting 20 corners, 30 chances and a fair few direct free kicks. Cech was also magnificent in the shoot out. Went the right way practically every time, and the save from Schweinsteiger was excellent.
Sometimes a team's name is written on it. They scraped through the group stage, would have comfortably gone out to Napoli if Boas hadn't gotten the boot before the second leg, somehow got past Barcelona with the aid of a missed penalty, numerous missed chances, posts, bars etc., did the same last night, survived another missed penalty and the woodwork coming to their aid and won on penalties after barely having a shot in three games of football. None of which takes anything away from the win as nobody remembers how anything is won, but a wise man once said that the best teams win the league while the luckiest win the cup and this was simply their year.
Yep. Still won £40, but had the Scousers been able to play even half competently it could've been £250! Useless сunts....
Yeah,CL was ripe for a chelsea win in the end,why didnt I bet you on that one, the mighty swarbs got it wrong
Que? I had Chelsea to win the CL, City to win the league and Liverpool to win the FA Cup. The only one I got wrong was believing Liverpool could ever play well in a big game
I had chelsea to win the CL since Jan I had it going to penalties and Olic and shweinsteigger to miss
