Cole also had some big perfromances. As you say, a win based mainly on opposition chances missed and the Chelsea 'old guard'. A great way for them to end their careers.

 

C'mon guys it may not have been pretty but they dug in and defended well, no doubt they rode the luck but well done Chavs.

 

Screw Chelsea, I'm gutted they won and seeing Terry with that trophy was an embarassment to English football.

 

I didn't go as far as to watch them lift the trophy **** that, but will say well done.

 

Torres(even though the twat never scored)was their best player for most of extra time,in defence making saving tackles,on the wing taking defenders on and kicking Bayern players when needs be,and he got booked.

 

To be honest I'm pleased for him, he may not be the player he wants to be at Chelsea but he left for trophies and he wasn't gonna achieve that here any time soon.

 

Tbf its down to players like him,Masch,Alonso etc leaving that we aren't as successful as we'd like to be.

For me it wasn't the fact that he left it was his calling us a small club that done my head in.

But whats done is done and whats won is won Zingy mate.

 

Meh, CL, kill it and bring back the European Cup.

I genuinely think if we still had Torres we'd be in the CL next season! Ironic.

If he feels part of their victories then let him be happy, I'd rather not sit on the bench every match but there you go.
