Chelsea win Cl and Roman thinks "no investment needed" = No chance next year. Cause Chelsea win Spurs sell Modric and Bale (abroad) = No chance next year. Geordies are a one year wonder. I'm banking on us, with a little investment, to qualify for the CL.
Obviously Roman knows heavy investment is needed, hence the signing of Marco Marin already. This will be Chelsea's busiest transfer window in years, tonight was the chance for them to possibly be finished, with no CL next year.
I'm scratching my head for good outcomes from tonight, and I'm scraping the barrel, an English club won..... Bayern, haven't won it 5 times.... Spurs implode. I also hope that Roman suffers from sentimentality and gives the job to RdM, as that means a bigger talent pool for us to choose from.... But other than that Chelsea are a bunch of twats, and their fans are even worse. Lets just call this a blip, like when Aston Villa won it ;-)
toon won't be a one season wonder, we are very well run, with some very good players we will be competing with the likes of Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool next season, and even spending massively wont necessarily change this so getting CL just got a little bit harder
Chelsea fans don't deserve it. But try to look at this with foresight. Chelsea are chronically a medium size club, they will never have the stature of Bayern, Milan, Madrid, Liverpool, Man United, Juventus. Our rivalry with them is only temporary, one decade from now they'll be back to mediocrity, whilst Bayern will still be a threat to our five cups.

are we ? we didn't last season, we kept the best (Colo, Saylor, Krul, Tiote ...), sold some that weren't all they were cracked up to be (Barton, Nolan ...) and bought better with the money, and, exactly the same people are still here in charge this summer, except now they have Europa League to barter with also, so why should it be any different ?
