I expect he will either pull out of Drury's testimonial or release a public apology beforehand and commit to the club. He cannot appear at the testimonial unless he apologizes

I can see it happening as well, it'll be very sad to see if the brain dead amongst us feel the need to boo Holt on a night that should be about Drury.

What happened to a sequence of events where:
    Player has good season
    Team has good season
Finances healthy and likely to continue
Player thinks he's worth a rise
    Player asks for rise
    Club says (1)yes or (2)no
    If (1) player delighted
If (2), player makes mind up one way or the other (a) accept decision, (b) put in transfer request
If (a) no-one knows and life continues
If (b) club (i) accepts or (ii) does not accept

Looks like the situation is (b) (ii).

However, this leads to hell breaking loose on Not606.

    League one maybe.

Funny how your manager and leading scorer are all trying to jump ship.

I have 2 good sources for news from Carrow Road and like most good sources they tell me sod all until shortly before something happens!! Just before the end of the winter transfer window I posted that both sources had told me that Holt would not be a City player by the end of the transfer window. I posted it then because it seemed that nothing was going to come of it but 2 days later Norwich turned down a bid from Rangers. What I didn't post was the fact that the agitation for a move was coming from Grant Holt even though he apparently had no adverse issues with the Club. He has now officially asked for a move. Am I being a bit naive in suggesting that this might be a simple case of ' my wife wants to live a lot closer to her family ' syndrome and Holt is fed up with the constant nagging?

Wheras it's just your leading goalscorer thats trying to jump your ship

Maybe it'll be Holt up front with RVP at Man City next year?

Have fun back in league 1 mate. Cant wait. You and stoke down next year <ok> Out with the thugs and their pathetic fans. You were a complete disgrace after your club broke sagna's leg for a meaningless premier league point. It was disgusting, but not as disgusting as you and other norwich fans on the arsenal board. So excuse for being happy about the implosion of your club this summer.

4th last year with fab and nasri. 3rd this year without them. Not like we need them. Same will happen with rvp. If he stays - great. We will get the best of him. If he doesnt never mind. We will cope like we always do.

    Try harder mate. D- post.
