If we sign better players than this over the course of the Summer then it really will be wonderful days ahead.

To think of what we all thought (myself included) after his debut to how much he improved in such a short space of time - what a prospect (and I don't think we've seen the last of his pregression).

Thanks alot for sharing that news with is.

I really do believe this is one of the best signings QPR have made in my life time (19 years), I had a feeling he would be off
to somewhere like Arsenal or Liverpool to be honest

He will be straight back in the side once fit. Who is going to keep him out? Doubt whether JB features in Hughes' masterplan after Sunday and his crass tweet that another player told him to get one of theirs sent off as well. We're a bit light on good tackling midfielders who know then what to do with the ball/

I wrote on this forum last March that once Diakite got used to the pace of Premier Football he would prove to be a good player, I am so pleased that people seem to agree.

I'd heard that he had a computer virus and was having sleepless nights trying to recover all his data as he had loads of good films and music on his computer, and that's why he couldn't play the last few games.

Faurlin or Diakite? Both nailed on starters. Faurlin was our best player in the first half of the season.

Hmmm, if they could barely communicate as you say then how did he understand what he was being asked? Perhaps Diakite thought the guy said "will you be leaving QPR"? I sincerely hope not as the potential is there for all to see but every day that goes by without him signing up increases the risk that someone else will step in. Once he got going I thought that he had the Arsene Venger style style written all over him and it would not surprise me at all to see a move from that direction.

These thoughts have occurred to me AAAAAGH - lets hope he signs up quick. He looks a great player and we need to strengthen central midfield with Barton likely to go and Derry getting on.

Yeah... and it's not as though he would've escaped Wenger's attention in the defeat against us, is it?!

Diakite has the makings of a next Viera about him, but Wenger seems a bit wary of players with oomph these days, and would be personally affronted to have 'missed' talent from a French club. His pride will keep him away. He will also be kicking his new assistant as we turn Traore into one of the best left mids in the league. That run and cross for Mackie at City were pure class.

That's what Sparky is paid £3m to work out! I find Tarbs difficult to work out - he likes playing on the left but has a great right foot......

I wouldn't be against a midfield of Faurlin and Diakite holding with Traore, Taarabt and Mackie ahead but I wouldn't be surprised to see Taarabt go either.

Zamora can play where you've got Taarabt Watford... just behind Cisse. Question is will Zamora still be with us by then.

Traore and Mackie on the wings with Diakite and Faurlin holding, gives us plenty defending and springing forward. Awesome! Just need strength-in-depth cover for injuries (and viruses!) - of a better standard that Buz, Bothroyd and co.
