They start, the sheep follow them, then before we know it half the crowd might boo him. How wanted is he going to feel then? West Ham
Unfortunately you're right. All these years of inbreeding were bound to do something eventually to the booing idiots.
Anyone who boos Holt should hand their season ticket in at the door and **** off home to never return. Sent from my Android using Tapatalk
On the other hand, I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised if on Monday, Holt and Lambert pledge their futures to Norwich and then its a sell-out on Tuesday!
Holt wants to leave? O dear. That is truely hilarious. You lot all have egg on your faces now. Maybe he is sick of your anti football/leg breaking tactics or maybe of the fans who defend this behaviour? KARMA has worked fast on this one.
Sorry but all this cras talk about Holt's agent setting things in motion is a load of old bollox, for christ sake he's 31 years old, not a kid new to the game, he dose'nt need to be told what to do, ok his agent has probably said "I think you can negotiate an improved contract", the timing was probably not right as McNally has said he wants to sort out those whose contracts are up for negotiation. But to blame his agent is stupid, he is after all, technically employed by Holt, an employee telling his employer what to do?, i dont think so. Anyway hope it's sorted and next season you can all FLGH.
This is what I think has happened: It's coming up to contract renewal time, Grant Holt speaks to his agent, who tells him if he hands in a transfer request it will strengthen his position in negotiations. So far, this makes sense. I'd do the same. Grant Holt has gone and followed his agents advice, without a real intention to leave (he's bought a house in Norwich recently, and let's be honest, it's a lovely city in which to live), and hands in his request, which is refused there and then. Grant Holt leaves relatively satisfied that he's put himself in a strong position, and expects that to be the end of it. An absolute idiot at the club (or possibly his agent) leaks the story to the media, which then gets taken out of context and snowballs rapidly out of control. Grant Holt is probably sat at home feeling ****ing awful, he's an honest bloke, he's now receiving torrents of abuse on twitter and being called a judas. He's alienated a large number of the fans which love him, and is probably dreading going to training on Monday. Also, it's overshadowed his mates testimonial match.
All players have agents. Got myself a discounted fry-up with your info on Martyn King, monarch. Thanks!
I thought his agent must have leaked it to strengthen his position as the club is usually very good at keeping things quiet.
For someone with fast approaching 3,000 posts on this forum, you display a total lack of any football related intelligence, possibly ANY form of intelligence! Go back to studying conspiracy theories you numpty!
Lol at arsenal4life.. Don't you worry about your team of foreign bottlers being unable to beat Norwich..you have problems closer to home. Which clubs rvp joining?!
with all due respect monarch, i think you're miles off. it is pretty blatant that its the work of an agent. holt was only yesterday morning talking about all manner of things norwich city and his future with us. he was about to do a radio interview - he had to pull out in the end at the last minute. if he'd planned this don't you think his timing would be a little better than this? any sane person can see that this was not a planned thing and came totally and utterly out of the blue. its got 'agent' written all over it and as CS says above, i fully expect holt to be 'head in hands' at what has broken out.
That's a well thought out and logical sequence of events, CS It reads as quite a nice story, but....................................... Where's the happy ending I was semi-expecting??
