SFA are cunts, fair enough fining us, fair enough banning Whyte but slamming a transfer embargo? Absolutely no need for it and it'll do the game no good at all. I hope that lispy twitter blocking tosser Regan trips over his fat tongue.

He's deprived my club from having a picture of our crest on the Sky Sports News screen during the transfer window while that toothy prick Swanson talks shite about who we're buying. That is unforgivable <grr>

    This one? http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18099048

I'm not saying we shouldn't be held accountable because I'm not daft enough to think Whyte did this without another single person knowing but this penalty badly affects innocent parties of the club such as the playing side & management oh aye and the fans. Whyte and anyone else involved won't bat an eyelid with this.

I would have accepted being booted from the Scottish Cup for one season but not being able to build a team is just restrictive of trade and will completely do us in as a team. It'll take Super Ally and the squad 2 seasons to recover unless our batch of youngsters resemble Man United of 1994 or Ajax of 1996. The punishment does not fit the crime in this case, its wrong.

The only good thing is if it does stand after a further appeal then at least we won't have to carry Gattuso for a season <laugh> every cloud and that <ok>

Whyte is not the only culprit Frank, John Greig, McLelland and other directors knew Whyte had been banned as a company director, they also knew he was witholding Tax to cover the day to day running costs of the club including buying players. None of them said a word even when they walked away (sic), if a Club cannot be held to account for the actions of it's directors then what is the point in having Directors in the 1st place.

I don't see what other punishment they could have given to be honest.

They along with AJ warned of Whyte's previous. I don't think anyone listened to be fair, including the SFA who didn't bother checking him out for fit & proper testing. When are they punishing themselves for that?

You only agree with the punishment because it's brilliant for celtc. I'd think the same if it was the other way round to be honest. Although I'm still waiting on Lennon getting a suitable punishment for his sustained madman antics.

Whyte made the decisions as owner of Rangers... so the "crime" was commited by Rangers!

Maybe a total transfer embargo is harsh but it's probably been done to protect other clubs - how many are owed cash from Rangers for player fees?

Maybe force Rangers to only buy players they can pay for up front/in full?

Rangers signed a declaration to the effect that Whyte was a "Fit and proper person" Frank, they sent it to the SFA.

I can't see how the SFA can be blamed for not digging into his background, that was up to Rangers and as Johnston was a Director, he could easily have turned whistleblower and grassed Whyte up to the SFA thereby stopping the sale.

The simple fact is that anyone at Ibrox, any of the Directors could have simply written or phoned the SFA and voiced their concerns, that was their duty. Maybe they did not want to piss off David Murray and that is just as bad.

Like Celtic under the Kellys and the Whites, your own directors have sold you down the river for a few extra sheckels in their pocket.

If they were going to embargo us then it would be sensible, and certainly more productive to do it until all football debts were settled. This punishment just initiates resentment. There's a good chance our players will pull out of international duty over this.

I don't disagree that our directors have fucked us over although AJ did try and stop the deal. Paul Murray put in a desperate rival bid but as we've seen he doesn't have the clout to get us out of this - something I stated more aggressively on follow follow which ended up with me getting banned <laugh>

What a steaming pile of ****e.

    Take yer oil.

The Huns are ****ed anyway. They wont be competing with Celtic for the SPL title, so this has **** all to do with it being great news for Celtic.

The level of cheating is such that the Huns were mighty lucky not to be ****ed out of football altogether. For a long time I have said that for the offence of cheating this season the Huns should be ****ed out of the SPL. As it is, the SFA have delivered their judgement before the SPL.

Cheat every **** and then beg for clemency <laugh> **** off.

Rangers feel punished they can't compete against us , they've cheated every team in the spl .Why should they roll up and be guaranteed second ??? With more and more cut backs in the Scottish game , younger player will be given more chance , might be a good thing in the long run .

Just when we were having a decent debate this nugget and Harry come along and darken everything.

I feel for them though, it must be hard being bummed on a daily basis and not have an adequate shower to wash away the discharge.

Frank you say the rangers of now shouldn't be punished, ie the fans and players. But when whyte arrived you cheered him. When you were told things you didn't want to hear you accepted whytes word and said the bbc should be banned and phil was a fantasist. Had you done something then you could have stopped it before it got this bad. You didn't. You have to take the good with the bad. You are in danger of repeating the feat also

Go **** yourself you bead rattlin Fenian bastard<ok>

I am quite happy to debate this with you Francis. I just think that Rangers should be utterly hammered for cheating. You have failed to provide any compelling reason that they shouldn't be.

Ok Francis. Outline the punishment you think Rangers should get for this specific offence.

Also frank you say hit you with the embargo when the debts are settled? That might be never. Why should you be allowed to spend money on players now and avoid further debts. The embargo is a great idea . If you have spare cash now- millions your new owner tells us- you might use it to pay a few extra off your debts first. Your clubs debts, no one else's
