It's not really 'accepting' as in condoning though is it?

It's just accepting that these things exist in other countries and cultures, like the caste system in India, like killing female babies in rural China etc

It's what they do there. It's not what we do here.

    Accept it and move on.

It's not trying to be intellectual, unless of course you're a dimbo?

How do you feel about the rape and murder of white farmers and their families in SA and Zimbabwe?

I've got no view on it, tbh, but some may think it's justified, others may think it's racism.

Apologies btw for this political stuff- but I didn't start it and I reserve the right to respond!

I must be imagining you've responded through the medium of words.....

I get the impression some of the spoilt brats on here have never been abroad- over there they drive on the other side of the road, their women don't shave their armpits, they think vegetarians are freaks, they drink and drive, they don't pay their taxes, they ignore their own laws, they think Britons are effete hypocrites who bullied the world and now lecture everyone else on how to behave, and a whole lot more besides.

It's a big world out there.

    Really?

I felt it was flawed from the outset hence my participation

I've had over 20 years of watching England abroad.

There are some hostile locals out there

    Great !

Sounds like a discussion is possible - rather than a queue of ill-informed people agreeing with each other!

No, deplore it. I suppose you give honour killings the thumbs up, as long as it's not in your back-yard. Dross.

No dimbo, just got standards. I would feel the same about rape and murder, regardless of the colour, nationality or beliefs either the perpetrators or the victims; it simply wrong.

Not only travelled over there, but lived overseas and alot more. One thing that experience has enabled me to cultivate is how to spot a total twat. Consider yourself spotted.

Where on this thread have I condoned anything that goes on abroad??

And by you posturing on a football forum about xenophobic violence has it changed anything?

    No.

    Thought not.
