    It seems as if the ground was a lot softer than I thought and I think Lutine Bell ran a very good race. Hughes never once went for the whip on him once he realised the win was past him. He'll be out on good to firm NTO as he needs fast ground.

    Thomas Chippendale should have a stone in hand off this mark. That doesn't mean that he'll win though.

    At 3/1 he was definitely worth the chance. 9/4 or 5/2 is closer to the mark but probably still just about worth a play.

    14/1 POETIC LORD for a Hannon horse looks far too big for a horse that was progressive last year and worth an EW punt.
