Maybe a back up keeper but not as a number 1.

If Lurch decides he wants to try his luck in the EPL then go for Gordon, I reckon he's still a cracking keeper, but if Foster decides to sign on the dotted line I would forget about Gordon.

Agree he might fit the bill as back-up but if he was anywhere near up to scratch why would Sunderland let him go?

I don't think Gordon should become our keeper, he would be very expensive and is prone to mistakes. Our big man
doesn't make big howlers and we should push the boat out for him.

I might be wrong (without looking) but I think he played about five games in two years, he's been injured for most of that time and not shown any form in training to oust Sunderland's other reserve keepers. Not exactly confident that he would be better than Zaluska.

Maybe he knew no matter what he did he was'nt going to get a game, I think Gordon is/was a cracking keeper, far better than MacGregor imho and well worth a punt. His wages may be an issue though.

Forster has been much improved this season...

I wasn't impressed with him last season but he's proved to be a consitant performer.

I'd prefer for Forster to stay for another few seasons.

However, if he doesn't want to stay then Gordon could be a good choice - if only he could stay injury free!!

Maybe Celtic have another plan to replace Forster if he decides to go...

Great keeper if he can avoid injury, hopefully you don't get him <ok>

Sometimes a manager just doesn't like you.

Unless foster signs a permanent deal then he would be my choice, not convinced by zaluska at all.

Lurch is undoubtedly improving but I would take Gordon in an instant, assuming there are no long term injury worries - vastly more experienced, better decision maker and commands his defenders much more than Lurch seems to do at the moment.
