Aw jesus noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ....................................... christ I'm truly gutted to hear that Nass. I've watched his Albert Bartlett win over and over again, it sends shivers down my spine watching him. Devastating news for all concerned with the horse. RIP.
That is really sickening. A fantastic prospect for the sport. I don't know if it's just me but this really does seem to happen more and more often recently. Probably just me reading more, but still.
In other news I think the form couldn't look better for the already-put-up Thomas Chippendale. If he's improved as much as others he has form ties to then he should be hacking up here. A good day out for Henry Cecil? I've had a whack at the Frankel, Noble Mission, TC treble.

Done these bets last night in an E/W Lucky 15. Some of the prices have reduced since NEWMARKET 13:40 Illustrious Prince @ 16/1 (GP) (currently available around 14/1) On a winning mark and quite well drawn. Has a chance with decent claimer that had won on him in the past on him. Ground conditions suit also. NEWBURY 14:30 Palace Moon @ 10/1 (GP) (currently available around 18/1) Ground conditions suit and has a decent record at this level (Class 2). Might be a little high in the weights but has won off 98 in the all weather. If this one does not win today and drops a couple of pounds in the future it could be very interesting in another race NEWMARKET14:45 Pea Shooter @ 11/1 (GP) (currently available around 8/1) Provided it is fit (1st time out this term) this one could be seriously well handicapped. On its' first run last year finished only 1 length behind Lillbourne Lad who is group class. Also on it's win last year all five other horses in that race have won since. NEWMARKET 15:55 Bowdlers Magic @ 20/1 (GP) (currently available around 14/1) Likes the trip / ground and has dropped a little down the weights (1 lb above last winning mark) Jockey Demuro had an excellent record with Johnson horses since he came over from Japan.
awful news about Brindisi Breeze a horse I thought could possibly give Big Bucks a thing or to to worry about next year. Sad for connections and trainer Lucinda Russell who derserves to have a chance to train a really top horse.
Just posting as have had a word about the Beckett runners at Newbury. They are really expecting Riot of Colour to win the maiden but of course it is priced to do so and there are some big trainers with unraced horses running. They also expect decent runs from the other two however who are prices that could make a small wager interesting. Currently 2.30 Pabusar 10-1 5.20 Rhagori 10-1 5.50 Riot of Colour 6-4 My best bet for today is Newmarket 2.25 Mince 9-2 Ran really well last time out with many of today's rivals behind, a difficult race but a reasonable price as is only slightly shorter than for the last race. I have backed it in a single and with the Beckett Maiden runner Riot of Colour.
2.20 Thirsk Captain Cardington 16/1 Although he's not one to invest a huge amount of faith in, I believe Mick Channon's 3 year old is definitely worth a wager. He was last seen at Goodwood over 10f on soft ground earlier this month and it was a poor effort at Goodwood. Very early on he seemed to be struggling and looked to be lugging in the ground and although he finished 2nd at heavy ground at Ffos Las he struggled early on that day too and I'm not sure how well he acts in the ground. 2 starts back off a mark of 66 at Nottingham he ran a decent race before folding in the latter stages to finish about a 5L beaten 5th. He ran in his typical fashion of getting bumped from a fair way out and with about 1f left he looked a real player before finishers swamped right past him. It was on ok effort but it wasn't fantastic and as he his dropped back to a mile today from 10f it may suit. He races today off a mark of 63 and he is actually 1lb below his last winning mark which was 4 starts ago at Lingfield over 10f in February. The form of that looks strong with the 2nd winning by 4L on his next start so there is a lot to like about that effort. In relation to his turf form, I think he has shown some good efforts which make him look pretty well handicapped. On his 2nd career start back in June of last year, Captain Cardington ran out an impressive winner of a maiden at Epsom. The form of that race looks strong , with the 2nd performing admirably off a mark of 70 subsequently and the 3rd winning twice in the interim period, including off a mark of 78. Going back to his 2YO days Captain Cardington was stepped into Class 2 company for his handicap debut off a mark of 75 at Goodwood where he ran a very credible 3.25L beaten 7th in a race with very strong form. After being readily outpaced, he met a lot of traffic in running before staying on over the 7f trip and if reproducing that effort today he should take all the beating. This run at Goodwood, coupled with his maiden success at Epsom, show me on his day he is a decent animal. I find it very interesting that he is dropped into a Class 6 event for the fist time on turf and now being 12lb lower than his good handicap debut and 1lb lower than his AW victory he appears very well handicapped. The only other time he has contested a Class 6 race was his success at Lingfield this year and he really should be up to winning this. I think the return to a sounder surface should definitely suit today and trainer Mick Channon has seems to have gotten his horses in top form with 2 winners and 3 horses finishing beaten by half a length. This looks a very winnable race and although he needs to re-find his form he is certainly a price worth risking to do it.
Really can't see Noble Mission winning the Derby but he ought to win today at Newmarket. Terrible news about Brindisi Breeze, was undoubtedly the best horse in Lucinda Russell's stable.
Afternoon guys, hope we are all well, in the 2.15 Newmarket THOUGHT WORTHY 2/1 looked mightly impressive LTO and is taken to flatten a lot of peoples doubles on the two brothers FRANKEL and NOBLE MISSION.
I think a lot of things Dex when Emma is on screen but i must confess, and not to my credit, one has never been when is she going to ask about the going.
thats terrible news regarding Brindisi Breeze together with Sprinter Sacre I thought he was the most excting prospect to come out of Cheltenham this year
