Eire, just seen this. Don't think it'll end up as bbc or JA. It's more likely explained as end of season blues or off season whining. Let's see how things progress when the transfer window opens & we approach the start of the new season

Normally I wouldn't wish death on anyone, if I feel somebody has done something wrong I wish them appropriate punishment - I wish that they see themselves for what they are, this is the worst punishment anyone can ever have.

But bates is 900 years old and not in great health. He's on his way out. He's not going to sell up because he won't change habits of a lifetime. The only way we're likely to be rid of him is if he's in a coffin.

I also believe bates isn't of sound mind and has been mentally ill for the majority of his life, I'd like to put him and the rest of us out of his misery.

No, he shouldn't have stood trial. Too risky. Too much faffing around. Too much paying even more tax payers money to protect a man who has caused the deaths of thousands of people, caused anguish to millions more, when it's easier and cheaper to just put a bullet through his head and have done with it.

Death is a part of life, unfortunately. The burden of living with having killed someone is an awful one - in the Falklands war, we lost more soldiers afterwards from suicide than we did from actual combat. Having the balls to stand up to and kill an evil person who is causing the suffering of thousands or millions of people, in most cases because they get a kick out of power, is in NO WAY "just as bad".

It insults me that people would even think "well if you kill them you're just as bad". That is not even slightly correct.

I know where you're coming from, he won't sell up or leave until he's passed away...but I still think wishing death on someone is cruel! Maybe I just don't take football seriously enough <laugh>

And also risk the lives of hundreds and thousands more, due to the fact that we killed Bin Laden...Don't think that was ever going to sit too well with Al-Qaeda. I know nothing's happened thus far, but especially with a terrorist organisation like Al-Qaeda, you kill one, another one steps in to take his place and comes back to kill and anguish more.

    I don't know, sometimes it's a necessary action to kill someone...but I still don't particularly like it.

Talking has to be the way forward. For example if we took turns to sit outside the Cafe Paris in Monaco everyday (Around 11am). We could explain to Ken that we were frustrated and unhappy.

I doubt it would change his mind, but it would surly spoil his elevenses everyday.

Took turns? I couldn't afford a coffee there, far less the airfare!

On a serious note, an I not right in thinking that there is a 'son of Bates'? He might take his fathers deeds to a new level, knowing our luck! <doh>

Lets put a coach on, I would love to see his face when 80 Leeds fans walked in and sat down.
