Heard some very strong comments about this horse before its first run of the season, and they seem to think he can retrieve the losses today.

Having been with her all through her 2 yold career, when she fell just short of top class, I couldn't stand to let Lady Gorgeous go unbacked in the 2.45 at Newmarket. Her comeback run in the Nell Gwyn was perfectly respectable, and if 6f is her game she can defy top weight at 25/1 generally. 40s in the win market on Betfair.

I thought it worth saying how good this forum often is to read these days since the various 'characters' have buggered off. Always much food for thought here.

Anyway, one that keeps nagging at me today is Bowdler's Magic in the 3.55 at Newmarket. Johnson won this last year with a big priced horse didn't he and this one seems nicely weighted and should be fit from his hurdling. I like Mark Usher's Spice Fair too in that race, but I think the burden of carrying the Harbottle each way investment will fall upon Bowdler's.

    Good luck today everyone.

That tyrannosaur is jot for gthe faint hearted. Good tho. Spare a thought lads for those of us on the train to newbury! Let's hope its worth it. The card apart from the procession is a nightmare so any help from you lads to not come home brassic is much appreciated.

    5.40 Newmarket Cape Safari 22/1

2nd to Easy Terms in a handicap LTO, Easy Terms won off of 6lb higher yesterday. 2 runs ago Cape Safari finished ahead of the Chesire Oaks winner giving away weight.

Good morning all. Just arrived at a cloudy, and slightly chilly, Newbury. Had a cracking run of just over 2 hours from Newmarket to here - unheard of!

Considering we're still 2 hours off the first race, the car park is filling at a steady rate.

Looking forward to a cracking days racing and honestly can't see Frankel getting beat. He looked a monster at Newmarket the other week, really strengthened up and filled out over the winter.

I'm armed with a camera so hope to get some shots up tomorrow.

I'm surprised they're already going handicapping with Wrotham Heath - his defeat behind Ektihaam looks pretty decent form with that one running such a cracker in the Dante

    Cheers RR.

I get where you're coming from with regards to horses that have difficulty winning and would generally agree. However, for Lutine Bell its always a case of him arriving on the scene a little too late as opposed to shirking in a battle. No concerns for me with about his mindset.
