Have you been to the Ukraine?

    Thought not

We have terrorist alerts every week in this country and have had several bombs

Would you advise people not come here for the Olympics because of the presence of bombers and extremists?

I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my arse

I'm 100% always against the obsessive, overly-PC nonsense you get where terms like blackboard are brought into question, I can't stand that bollocks. It seems like some people take pleasure in calling others racist because they use the word black or muslim, and you see loads of people who simply don't have the intelligence to comprehend how those words aren't offensive.

However, situations like this and the ones you get in some other ****ed up countries (maybe I'm racist?!) are just plain wrong. Any situation where people are in danger because they are a certain colour or sexuality is a load of **** and those responsible need a kick in the cock. That's a bit more serious than a bit of name calling.

The difference being that there is legislation in Germany which makes neo-nazism illegal, can't comment on the other places:laugh:

"You're a Nazi" he typed indignantly, as his wild assertions were challenged.

There is the legislation, but still there is a huge neo-nazi following in germany calling themselves the fourth reich.

Which ever country the world cup, olympics etc would be held in there is always going to be a problem. No country is perfect. We have idiots like the BNP, NF, EDL etc not as extreme as other countries but I like to think that the police would have the power to deal with the situation in any country as they do not want to come out of the tournament looking bad.

Im still looking forward to the euros and olympics and hope that there is little trouble.

Yes, let's hope there are no incidents but I fear our police will have their hands full in London preventing bombs etc

You call it diversity, some call it a plurisy of opinion, I call it bullshit of the worse order.

Your lame defence brings you into disrepute; NFUNo1 has it right - it is a blight on sport that we honour these coutries with these tournaments when they do nothing about these issues - but then we had the chinese olympics!

The point I was tempting to make and which obviously was too subtle for the simpletons on this thread was that each country has a different history, experience and culture.

To judge them all using ourselves as a yardstick is a fool's errand.

This is not condoning of communism or fascism, just common sense.

Don't be so judgmental of other countries, lest ye be judged.

If someone thinks it's acceptable to attack people just because of the colour of their skin, I'll judge them to be a bunch of ****tards.

The way I see it, if you're willing to accept the views of neo nazis and racists then you **** all over the memories of everyone who had the bravery to go and fight for equality and your very own freedom in the 2nd World War. As a country we went to war for this (along with many other reasons which you don't need to point out to me in response) and to now say neo nazis etc. deserve to excercise their thoughts and beliefs is just ignorant. It's not racist to accept that neo nazis exist, should be allowed to exist, and be able to excercise their views... it's just a very mis-placed sense of morals/ You think you're taking the moral highground by accepting them... but you're really not.

Even simpleton's can have some level of right and wrong. Stop trying to be intellectual, you're simply coming across as a twat. It's not 'our' yardstick, it's the only yardstick any decent human being should uphold: racism is wrong, anytime, anywhere, regardless of history. Give me one, just one example that you know of which would exonerate racism?
