Remember Tore Andre Flo and Marcus Stewart - deadline day buys. Oh what a great season we had. I would even class Gyan as a deadline panick buy

The choice of taking him' in a marital sense or 'taking him' as a Sunderland player. Even as a fully signed up hetrosexual I'd do one for the lads to keep that sicknote away from here. Imagine the ammo it would give the infected and to be honest as for 'raising the profile' I know SAFC are branching out their business interests but I didn't realise that Horse Racing was part of the remit :)

You forgot Bendtner in with that lot mate.
As for Owen I wouldn't touch him with a barge pole he isn't interesting clubs because of his injury problems and wage demands which are reportedly in excess of 90k a week. Granted that was the Stun but, has to be fairly close to that to pay for his helicopter and race horses. Leave well alone for me as he'll only be warming the physios palms after a couple of games.

Vincemac<bighug>, it's like I've never been away :) oh! apart from the fact that the overwhelming majority were in a state of euphoria about Bruce and the 'next level' back in the day!!! ;)

no, you want players who'll give there all if it goes pear shaped and most mid-table teams have that possibility, when it happened to us he couldn't care
