1 of the kids I teach has a brother who's doing a physio work placement at Bolton.

Reckons reo Coker has told management and players he's been approached by mon to come to Sunderland. Could be bollocks and I hope it is because I don't rate him and we don't need him but they were together at villa.

Maybe not that bad but not far off. He promised so much 3 or 4 years ago but never quite made the final push to be a top player. He isn't the answer for me either now.

Now this is a type of player that MON may sign, just gone 28 has played almost 400 games , vast majority in the premiership, good engine ,fitness levels ,showed lots of promise over the years but never quiet pushed on. Type of player MON would think that he could get more out of him, wouldn't dismiss his that quickly.

I'd have him as DM backup at NUFC any day, think you guys are underrating him personally.

Funny how opinions can differ so massively <laugh> I genuinely think he could do an extremely solid job in the holding role, good tackler but doesn't pick up too many cards, good distribution and can nick the odd goal. As long as you tell him he only has to protect the defence and not get up and down the pitch, he could do a class job imo.

If we could sell Gardner and cattermole for a combined £8m then bring in Reo Coker and Diame for free that would be an exceptional bit of business.

Two midfielders plus £8m in the kitty for strikers.

I would have him if we sold Vaughan and Gardner.

He can pass and was U21 captain a few yrs ago.
