dont care who wins but i do think its unfair on spurs if it means they cant qualify for the champions league: it should be the top 4 in england and chelsea shouldnt be there. this should at least be open though, i dont think either side will park the bus
Why shouldn't the defending champions be there next season if Chelsea win it tomorrow? I'd rather see them in it next season than a team that finished 4th in the league (sorry Rocky!) Completely understand why Spurs fans want Munich to win. But I'll be supporting Chelsea and hoping they bring the trophy back to England.
i seem to have made my point badly - i think they should be allowed in to defend it, but not at the expense of a team who have done enough to get into the champions league by normal standerds. maybe instead of a random romanian team or something, or maybe just enter them into a qualifying round early on
man city are doing now what chelski done a few seasons back and buying the best players to win the league is that fair to everyone else ....no.and that is why us fans are being shafted for ticket prices as it filters back down the divisions.the fa haven't got the balls to put a wage cap on the players so us fans bear the brunt of it everytime. come on bayern hotspur and win it for the fans ..........and us yido's on the left side terrace at adams park.
true true, again made my point badly! i dont think spurs should miss out, if it means they have to qulify further and one less team gets a by or something, i dont really know how the qualifying works!
spurs have been a selling club in the premiership when the man utds and others have come touting their players,in case you didn't notice js bayern is a club run properly and our english clubs should take note of that.spurs have a massive fan base and when their new stadium is built they will be one of the biggest clubs in the premiership and have an ideal man at the helm in daniel levy who has the clubs interest at heart,no offence js but don't try and give me a lecture about spurs because i know more about them than you would ever learn in your lifetime.
In that case Rocky can you remind me of one particular player. Can't remember the year but I was in a shop in Aylesbury cheering on Spurs (I think it was a cup final) and this Argentinian dribbled round the defence and either scored the winning goal or made it, The other Argentinian playing at the same time was the legendary Ossie Ardilles.
a selling club js is one that gives in under pressure when another club comes calling for their players as spurs have done for many years now, thats a fact js.i could give you a long list of star players that spurs have sold in that way.
I've been trying to remember his name for ages then when I saw that picture that name came straight into my head. A bit of magic on the left, along the goal line, if I remember correctly.
